EVO Nano+ is compact and lightweight, so you can travel with it in your pocket.
Purchased this drone because it weighs less than 250g, does not require registration, and promised a great camera. Autel put this drone out a bit too early as there were some software issues and some missing features. Most software issues have since been addressed and the features are coming. Love the camera and it handles well in the air. Has obstacle avoidance front and back. Biggest plus IMO is that unlike DJI drones, it is not geofenced. The software does not force you to fly only where DJI thinks is safe. I check the FAA charts and know the restrictions. My DJI Mavic Air2 will sit on my driveway and refuse to launch. The FAA charts show no restrictions. No issues with the EVO Nano+ in that regard. Have seen some complaints about it being slow. You need to check the weather before you fly and be smart enough to not be sitting up there high if the winds pick up. Winds speeds are usually (not always of course) lower at lower altitudes. I have not found anything to dislike about it. I had an evo one then decided to get the evo 2. I handels far better than my first one. Photos and videos are fantastic. It has many features such as tripod mode and follow me. What is really nice is the sensor array for avoiding objects. I have yet to find anything i dislike about it. Good bye dji. Good little sub-250g drone for price.
I've been flying an Autel Evo II 8K for a while and am happy with it. It is rather large for airline travel, so I decided to get a mini, ultimately deciding on the Nano + premium bundle. This is surely at or near the top of the list for mini drones but there are some negatives. One, the bundle doesn't include an SD card. It should. Two, the Sky App software is not compatible with my phone (Samsung Galaxy A02s) which easily meets the stated requirements in the specs. All I got was a "sorry" from Autel Support. The app does work with the tablet I use for the Evo II, but that isn't exactly going "lite". Third, the highest quality photo setting will only record in Jpeg. I flew this drone and took several pictures. The photo quality is very good. I am glad that finally DJI has some good competition. This drone is just as good as DJI and surpasses the Mavic 2 pro in photo detail. I really like the no Geo-fencing. I am a part 107 pilot and I should be able to make my own decisions about where I fly and not have some third party, like DJI, tell me where I can fly. This bundle is a good deal. The batteries last forever.
