Autoglym products have been around for years but I’d never tried them. I’ve got windshields on two cars that have what would appear to be tree sap spots - tiny dots of it - all over them. They are both new cars so they haven’t been sitting outside for years or anything. They felt like paint that needed clay barred real bad. Made it tough to clean the windshields - the spots caught tiny threads of microfiber cloths if you tried to use them. I’d tried several things to get the windshields cleaned up to no avail. Even an orbital polisher with some mild cleaning compound didn’t do the trick. Bought the Autoglym Glass Polish and it worked! Applied it with a microfiber applicator pad just like you were putting it on paint. Doesn’t take a whole lot of product - just apply it with a reasonable amount of pressure to ensure you’re getting the glass smooth, let it dry to a haze, then wipe it off with a clean microfiber towel. I’m totally happy with the results. The windshields are as smooth as can be!

Great product for all windows in your car inside and outside. Wash or clean with a good quality window cleaner first then apply Glym glass polish. Make sure you apply product in a circular motion let dry for a good few minutes then wipe buff off residue to a spotless crystal clear finish. Highly recommend

This was the best glass cleaner I have used. No mess, glides on and is easy to see to polish off. Left the glass looking like new.I used it on the inside and outside after a wash. Didn’t leave steaks that appear when driving at night under street lights or in the day with bright sun.I would recommend getting the sponge applicator with it.

Autoglym car glass polish was not able to clean the water marks from my windows. I ended up using 0000 steel wool with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, which did the trick nicely. (I had to research to confirm 0000 steel wool was safe for glass, but with a mohs hardness of 4.5 for steel and 5.5 for glass, it's impossible for steel to scratch it – just make sure you thoroughly wash and rinse the windows to ensure there are no other contaminants on it).
This really helped me to remove 20 years of hard water stains on my windscreen, and make it look like new again. Only issue is you need to really work the polish in. If you have one, use a DA polisher and go crazy on your glass with this. I made sure to clean the windscreen thoroughly beforehand to make sure I wasn't polishing dirt into the glass.I have only done a small patch on the driver's side where my visibility was downright dangerous at night, because headlight glare and a damp windscreen would scatter the light too much. It made a huge difference, but will be picking up a DA before doing the rest. I recommend a few applications of this stuff, and a nice glass sealant to finish it off and to help prevent water stains from forming again.
Autoglym glass polish is an extremely effective product for removing squeaking, streaking or outright annoying windshield wiper noise. It also effective in removing haze and making the windscreen crystal clear. Just apply it generously and evenly across sections of the windscreen at a time (makes it easier to apply properly), allow ~5 mins to dry and wipe it off with a clean microfibre and a considerable amount elbow grease or for better results, a polishing machine. Do the same on interior windshield for interior hazing. If done properly results will shock you. For my purposes, I took a screenshot of a video just before the windshield completed a down stroke. On the left is before and the right is after applying Autoglym. Look closely at the difference in streaking.
I guess it works OK as a glass cleaner. I can still see certain marks when the windscreen fogs up. It is not a polish, don't be confused by the name. It has no abrasives and can't work as a polish. Also does not help with fogging unlike some people who claims it does.Only complaint I have is that after wiping the dried residue (inside the car), all these white flakes are EVERYWHERE, on the dash, in the cup holders, on the perforated seats. Make sure you lay a towel before wipe off to catch those flakes/residues.
Reminds me of Windolene, cleans up glass and wipes off easily. No bother if you get it on the paint which comes up glossy. For a quicker clean up: use 'Fast Glass' (this leaves no residue and seems good for any surface (except cloth and leather) and is my go to 'detailer'.
