I love the spray application and it's soothing on the skin. It does have the calamine feel for a few minutes but it sinks in quickly and doesn't feel emollient at all, just a little moisturizing. It's definitely for use on skin irritation, not as a moisturizer, but my skin did feel nice after using it.

Works great, found out the hard way. Fell on cement many scrapes. Worked great, no pain on application.
I used this recently after struggling for a few days with incredibly itchy skin (arms, torso, legs) but no rash or hives. The itching was unbearable. My skin had been moisturized and I couldn’t figure out the cause. I decided to try this spray after a shower and the itching pretty much stopped. I couldn’t believe how fast it worked. I’m going to use it for some of the other uses noted.
I thought this spray was more of a face spray, but it’s def not. It surprisingly broke my face out with some pimples, but it works great as a quick body moisturizer. Not too hydrating but does help with some moisture. I like that I can use on my 7 year old son when he gets out of shower and knowing that I’m putting somewhat cleaner ingredients than most moisturizers. Decent, but prob wouldn’t repurchase.
This is my go-to spray in warmer weather, when Avene's regular Cicalfate cream is too heavy. I use this on my neck and chest when they get irritated and during a rosacea flair. It aborbs well and can be used anywhere you need it. As usual, it's gentle and no noticeable fragrance for sensitive skin. Great product for summer.

I thought I would try it bc I love Avene products. Sure enough, I cut my finger horribly such that doc in the ER couldn't do stitches. It was bad. Long story short, after bandages came off (still so painful but wound needed air) this spray saved my sanity. I was hesitant to use it because what's it really gonna do, right? The cut still looked horrible and I was still in pain and it was going to be a long healing process. I got brave and lightly sprayed the wound. Let me tell you.. Game changerrrrrrr. My husband got 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his forearm and after 5 or so days of oozy wounds he started using this spray plus the Cicalfate cream - and within maybe 48 hours it looked COMPLETELY different. We were both shocked. At that point he started showing me the progress with each bandage change. It was exciting. Forever fans of everything Cicalfate.
