Avanti Art Deco Luxury Oil Can - 500ml

The description states it is drip free. It isn't. The oil drips down the from the spout and for the unaware you end up with an oil ring under the base. I had to put paper towel under the base.The product is well made however the design defeats the reason I purchased it. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

This oil pourer looks lovely, but it constantly drips oil which is a pain as I’m constantly having to wipe oil off my bench. Need to change spout.

Pourer leaks from the lid when pouring the dribbles down the outside. Disappointed with pourer.

I’m still trying to find a oil dispenser that dosnt leak & drop oil. This looks great in the kitchen but when I use it it leaks oil from the lid and when I’m finished with it and put it back upright the oil leaks from the spout. I always have to wipe it after each and every use.... ahh the frustrations with oil! This is the second style I bought from here and I’ve no luck... just money being wasted on what I thought was good product and brands

Avanti oil can

An elegant oil can in a generous size. The 750ml can is not too large or small and can be easily handled during cooking. It’s beautiful to look at, but unfortunately it isn’t drip proof. The can does seep oil from the lid, which is why I am giving it four stars. I do think this is an unavoidable part of using oil in cooking though. I’ve never had an oil vessel that hasn’t had issues with leakage and I’ve compensated for this by keeping this can on an appropriate stand. Pouring wise, the can does have a learning curve, but once mastered this can is an elegant edition to any kitchen.

Good Functional Product

While there does seem to be a leak/drip after pouring (easily fixed by a quick wipe afterward) I have found it incredibly useful when working in the kitchen. It is especially useful for holding a decent amount of oil (perfect if you buy in bulk) and not releasing it so fast you can't keep up. While it may be aesthetically pleasing I don't include that in my rating, it is functional and I would buy another.

Lovely looking oil container. Easy to pour. It does leak from the lid though. The lid and container is metal and I noticed a ring of oil on my counter top that, on examination, came from the lid which was securely attached. A rubber seal may fix this. Still happy with my purchase.

I haven’t used this oil canister yet as it’s a Christmas present for my Husband but I did pull it out of the box and it is such a high quality piece - so glad I purchased! Kitchen Warehouse we’re also a pleasure to deal with, delivery was very fast and I was updated accordingly throughout the process. Looking forward to shopping here again.

Really happy with this purchase

Very happy with this little oil can. It's smart, pours well and looks more expensive than what I paid for it. It's also slightly bigger than I had expected.

very oily cupboard

It may look good but i cant understand why it weeps, i have not filled it to the top but the cap is full of oil. It continuously weeps filling my cupboard with oil too, at first i thought it was leaking but then i realised that it actually weeps from the top. Maybe the tiny little hole on the cap is not enough air going through.
