I purchased one of the Avanti garlic presses on impulse, and found it to be the best garlic press ever. The slicing feature is occasionally useful but the extra leverage of the tool means that you get far easier and more complete expression of a clove. And the built-in cleaner, unlike those in most garlic presses, looks to be extremely durable.As a result I purchased several for this year's Christmas gifts.
