Having used Aveda in the past; I was happy to see them return to QVC. My hair is long and naturally fair with accenting highlights at the front. It tends to be dry but is also quite fine. Using Aveda products as a guide; Shampure is not moisturising enough, but Sap Moss is too heavy. So I decided to try this trio. Firstly the aroma is beautiful. The shampoo is light yet is conditioning so my hair did not feel stripped or 'squeaky clean'. The conditioner is a medium consistency- I used a 50p amount to lengths and ends, left for a few minutes then rinsed. Finally I applied the leave-in conditioner to lengths and ends and used a paddle brush to work the product through my damp hair. I have used minis of this off and on for years and committed to the full size - love love love it. I have wavy hair when washed and dried correctly and this shampoo has made my curls and waves come back stronger after every wash. Beautiful scent that's not overpowering. Doesn't have a big foamy later but it still spreads nicely in the hair when washing.I have quite fine hair and this doesn't weigh it down!

I haven't used Aveda for some years, but with an easy pay code I decided to treat myself to this bottle. I loved the scent and how small an amount of product was needed, and, especially important, that it's vegan friendly. Left my hair soft and manageable. Having wild, rebellious hair, I'm always looking for something to leave it as tamed as possible, and this did the job without weighing my locks down or leaving it feeling greasy. My new favourite hair care product.

I went to an Aveda salon and fell in love with the shampoo the stylist used in my hair. I ended up ordering this and liked the results at first. My hair felt healthy and super clean. Fast forward a few months after using and my hair has SO much product buildup and my roots look greasy non-stop. I don't use any other products besides shampoo and conditioner and it looks like I use tons of products in my hair! I saw a new stylist who used to work at Aveda and she told me to switch shampoos asap! I have since switched to a clean-ingredient shampoo and incorporate a clarifying shampoo into my routine and still can't seem to get rid of the build up. My hair has never looked so bad. I am so thankful to QVC for introducing me to many products over the years that I would have otherwise never have found and one of these is Aveda. My hair has been amazing since I started using Aveda and have continued to buy it after QVC stopped selling it so it is great to see it back for other people to discover. Also great ingredients and nothing harmful. I have fine hair and have always found the Invati products to be great, especially the lighter one. Love the smell of this one but think Invati best suited for finer hair. Other amazing product for stronger hair is Philip Kingsley Elasticiser.
I was using Sap Moss shampoo and the Cherry Almond conditioner for a long time; before that, a "drugstore" type of inexpensive shampoo and the Cherry Almond conditioner. It wasn't until I tried both the Cherry Almond shampoo and the conditioner together that my hair completely changed - it only took one time and I could comb through my wet thick wavy hair with ease. After my hair dried (air dry, no hair dryer), it was so soft and silky. All this because Aveda sent me a sample of the shampoo with my last order, otherwise I might not have tried it. Willing to pay a little bit more now for better feeling hair! I immediately bought a full-size bottle of the conditioner and will keep up with this regime!
I have used this product for years... loved it! Sadly it has been changed... new and improved looks better on paper sometimes than in real life. My hair in the shower, felt like I had used a clarifying shampoo on it, it was dry and matted even when wet. No conditioner didn't help! I think my hair has broken off and I have damage. Yes I have contacted corporate, yes they have worked with me by returning my money. Money doesn't fix my hair, but I do appreciate their help. After all they are not the ones that have ruined a great product. I just hope I do not have to cut my hair off... if I do I am not going to be happy!
I started using the cherry almond shampoo when Aveda brought it back in 2018 and I have used it ever since. I've tried other shampoos and always find myself coming back to this one. I am hooked! It smells so good and leaves my hair so soft. I have fine wavy hair that is color treated (but I do not use heat on my hair) and it doesn't seem to weigh my hair down but I also use a clarifying shampoo once a week. Gave 4 stars since it makes my scalp slightly itchy, but nothing unbearable (obviously, since I keep using it!!) Definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed! :)

I have thick wavy hair that tangles easily when wet. I also have oily roots and prefer to wash my hair daily. I can get away with a wash every other day although my scalp starts to itch. Since I'm washing my hair often I like to go for midweight moisture in my shampoo/conditioner. The Cherry Almond shampoo truly added a softness and shine that the Brilliant line didn't even give me! It lathered up nicely and felt very moisturizing without weighing my hair down. I did not like the matching conditioner though, because it felt too light and watery, but the shampoo by itself is so worth getting. I just pair it with a heavier conditioner.
