It contains Aveda's Follicle Vitality Complex which contains ginger, turmeric, eclipta, and alpinia which helps to boost energy and protect follicles from external aggressors. I have extremely long hair and suffer from hair loss due to stress, medications, and breakage...so, I lose a a lot of hair strands when I wash my hair. The Invati Revitalizing Scalp Serum has helped to protect my hair follicles and has made a healthy environment for my hair follicles. Once massaged into my scalp, this Scalp Serum does not make my Scalp or roots sticky at all and it does not weigh down my hair. It's completely weightless! And, it just feels really nice on my scalp! After using the Invati Revitalizing Scalp Serum for a few weeks, my scalp and my hair seem so much happier! My hair has beautiful shine, volume, and bounce! And, my scalp feels refreshed! Ok folks, this is a good one!! If your hair is lacking enthusiasm- you need to give this a try! I have fine, color-treated hair and use heat to style so my hair gets a little stressed out. It's important for me to use products that protect and revitalize my hair so it doesn't resemble a dying plant. I have been struggling with hair thinning for over a year and have been looking for a system that would help with strengthen and improve loss. Great for bleached dry hair

The product was gifted to me by Aveda. I started putting it on overnight and washed my hair in the morning and noticed a difference in my scalp after just two uses. Although my scalp isn't patchy, it is quite dry, which leads to hair loss. I've used similar products before, but they only made my scalp even drier, and my roots suffered as well-a big problem for me since I lighten my hair. However, this product did not dry out my scalp or roots at all. The application was also much easier because the formula isn't drying, allowing me to massage it into my scalp, and it blended well. After the second use, my roots looked visibly healthier, and I experienced noticeably less hair loss. I got to try all 5 products in the set and received enough to last a whole month! It has a very nice and refreshing herbal scent. The shampoo leaves your hair and scalf feeling really clean and refreshed. The conditioner does an amazing job of detangling, smoothing and moisturizing. There is a leave in conditioner you can use. I am really liking this Aveda Invanti Ultra Advanced Revitalizing Scalp Serum for my thinning hair! I've been applying it every day for the last week or so and I really do think I can see some new hairs sprouting in my part! I'm thrilled about it because I've tried so many things. I still need to try it a bit longer to be sure, but the ingredients are top notch for those with thinning hair. Not for fine hair

Influenster sent me the whole 5-piece Invati Ultra Advanced system to try out in exchange for a review which is amazing, but it makes it hard to review each of the five parts of the system individually since I switched from my typical routine to this five-piece system overnight and it's hard to know exactly which product is responsible for which results I saw... but I'll do my best! For the record I have a thick head of hair, but every strand is very fine.I did not like the Exfoliating Shampoo. The smell was amazing, as most Aveda products are, but it seemed harsh on my hair. I don't think my hair needed to be exfoliated... especially not multiple days in a row. When I rinsed the shampoo out, my hair felt rough--like dry and almost damaged. I kept thinking I was getting too much because it was a thinner liquid than I was expecting, but then it just disappeared into my hair. It didn't make my hair greasy, but my hair also didn't feel soft or smooth, so like I said-I don't know what it did. Finally, the Styling Foam. I tend to have some body, so I'm not sure if it helped in that arena, but my hair was out of control on these days that I used these products. Whether I followed everything up with my typical blowdry, heat protectant, and flat iron or if I just pulled everything back into a sleek ponytail... it didn't make a difference. Somehow my hair was just coarse, stiff, and absolutely full of flyaways. Overall, I hate it.

The box describes the scent as a mix of Lavender, Clary Sage, Sandalwood, Vanilla, and other extracts. I was worried it might be too woody (I'm picky with sandalwood) or just too strong, but it smells incredible. I would buy a perfume of this scent because it smells so good, and I probably have been spraying more than I need to on my hair because of it. It's really herbal/botanical with maybe just the tiniest hint of the sandalwood and vanilla, and a little more of the lavender.
