My thoughts.... This is Step 2 of the Aveda Invati Ultra Advanced 4-step System. I have extremely long hair that is down to my butt, and it is naturally curly. I do suffer from hair loss, thinning, and breakage...due to extreme stress, medications, and heat/chemical damage. I lose a lot of hair in the shower when I wash it. And, I lose strands throughout the day. Since using the Aveda Invati Ultra Advanced Thickening Conditioner, along with the entire Invati Collection, I have noticed great results within a few weeks! I went from losing huge clumps of hair in the shower to not losing as much! And, I'm losing less strands throughout the day! After using the Invati Thickening Conditioner, my hair feels extremely soft and silky! And, I'm able to easily comb my hair after washing it...normally, I would need a Leave-in Conditioner in order to comb my wet hair! I've also noticed that I have amazing body, volume, and bounce to my hair after styling it...which is great because it's hard to get volume with extremely long hair! However, I haven't noticed if the Invati Thickening Conditioner has actually made each hair strand thicker, but that may come with time and consistent use...I received a Mini Size so I'm not sure how the Thickening Conditioner works longterm. The scent of the Invati Thickening Conditioner is beautiful....very light, calming, fresh, clean, and has a slightly citrus-y scent. I find the scent to be very pretty and pleasant! And, because the scent is so light and there's no Synthetic Fragrances, I think the Aveda Invati Collection would be a safe option for people who are sensitive to fragrance. Overall, I think the Aveda Invati Ultra Advanced Thickening Conditioner is amazing on its own but works even better if used with the matching Invati Exfoliating Shampoo! I received samples of the Invati line from Aveda and Influenster to review. I do wish Aveda had provided full sized products since their claim is for full results in 12 weeks; mine lasted about 1.5 weeks. In the short time of using the Invati products, I noticed my hair was fuller and felt thicker in a ponytail. I absolutely adored Invati conditioner about ten years ago but the formula was changed and I stopped purchasing. The old version used to make my hair thick just from the conditioner. This newer version does give beautiful results but I think you need the whole system as opposed to JUST the conditioner as I once used.
