Aveeno Bath Soothing Treatment 8

These oatmeal baths can soothe dry skin and offer relief from itching. Oatmeal is great for that. Keep in mind that the only ingredient is powdered colloidal oatmeal. What I like to do is add it to homemade face masks. It’s so much fun! Even just a little raw honey mixed with this oatmeal makes for the most indulgent face mask. Oatmeal is so softening and great for your skin.

So this could easily be a very long review, but I’ll keep it short. Last September I had contracted some sort of poison ivy or sumac and a possibly bug bite all at the same time. It was awful and felt like my skin was literally on fire. I had taken a round of antibiotics and it didn’t even touch it. Then I was prescribed a steroid ointment and that didn’t fix it. I won’t post pictures, but if you’ve seen stinking nettle before..it was like that. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

This Aveeno Eczema Therapy Soothing Bath Treatment works great. I use it myself when I need some relief for times my skin is extra sensitive and dry and itchy. It helps to relieve some of the itchiness and calm down my skin. It smells good and is very soothing. My skin feels more moisturizer and calmer after soaking in the bath with this. I would recommend giving this a try if you have any skin sensitivities, eczema, or itchy skin. The price is great compared to some other eczema treatments!

I started using Aveeno products in the early 90s. When I was diagnosed with Fifth disease as a child. Aveeno was the number one products my doctor recommended to ease the discomfort from the rash. The first product I ever use was a Soothing Bath Treatment. I was in 3rd grade and I still remember how much relief this product brought to me. I have continued to use Aveeno products for the last 30 years as they have protected and hydrated my skin.

So, I definitely need relief to soothe my inflamed skin. Oatmeal baths were recommended by my nurse and I figured I use something for babies/kids. I bought this box at Target and immediately opened it. Love that it’s fragrance-free and is allergy-tested. It was soothing and calmed my skin immediately. I bought Aveeno baby eczema therapy soothing bath for my daughter. She suffers from eczema. I was not sure how good it would work. I have tried so many that didn't work. To my surprise it worked! It left her skin so soft and didn't make her itch at all. I tried it and loved it also. It made my skin soft too. I definitely recommend trying Aveeno eczema bath if your child suffers from eczema.

It dissolves easily in water and it softens the water immediately. This product is super high quality with great ingredient. I love to bath in winter but sometimes the hot water dries out my skin, but this product hydrates my skin instead so it is good for dry and sensitive skin. It smells comforting to me as the oat scent is very mild. The packaging is very convenient also because each pack is just enough for my bath. I love this bath product and I will def buy it again.

Lifesaver!

My teenage daughter had gone to the beach a couple days ago and missed some of her back with sunblock. She had a very bad sunburn that turned into hell’s itch during the night. She was in a lot of pain. I remembered that I had bought this Aveeno oatmeal bath and put some in a luke warm tub for her. It took time but after about and hour of soaking she was much more comfortable and able to sleep. This was a lifesaver! I will never be without this product in my house again. I highly recommend keeping this on hand.

My Go To for Dry Skin.

Unfortunately my toddler has eczema. I was trying to look around for products that would help during bath time so her skin wouldn’t be so dry after bathing. This did help after a few uses and she stopped itching little by little.I did notice even after following the exact instructions on how to use it there would still be clumps of the oatmeal around the water. When the water runs I do dissolve the little clumps of balls in my hand to fully get the treatment to work. After it also leaves residue on the bath tub so I just run water for a few seconds to wash off.I am still happy with the product as it’s worked with what it’s intended to do!

My calves were red and inflamed and I scratched to the point where they were bleeding and weeping. I was MISERABLE and could not sleep at night due to pain and itching. I was desperate for relief.
