Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream, 100g

Now that it's getting colder my hands are dry. Sometimes I used the hand cream on my elbows and knees too. This one contains colloidal oatmeal which is good for sensitive skin. You can feel the petrolatum in it. I find hand creams with this ingredients acts as a barrier to help maintain moisture for longer. It doesn't feel greasy and absorbs quickly. It doesn't have fragrance and smells like oats. It reminds me of tough hands but with oats. The hand cream is in a squeeze tube which makes it easy to use. Overall I enjoyed using this especially when I want something fragrance free. Oh it also didn't sting the cuts on my hand!

Recently purchased this as I have run out of a handy handbag sized hand cream. Because I am constantly washing my hands and excessive use of hand sanitiser in healthcare my hands have been dry. I wanted to try this product for so long. This Aveeno hand cream was half price in a sale and I wanted to finally try it. It has a secure lid and its a great tube size. It is a subtle scent and not overpowering at all. The cream comes in a cloudy white colour and the consistency is mildly thicker but absorbs so well and does not leave a sticky residue at all. I have been applying this cream whenever needed and I am pleased with the nourishing moisture that it has.

It is of quite a dense gel/cream consistency and has next to no scent being fragrance-free. I wish I found this product earlier. Small amount goes a long way. Very nourishing and comforting, calms the itchiness. Ideal for sensitive to very sensitive skin with no scent. It melts into and takes care of rough parts and cracks on the back and palm of my hand. The slightly higher price for a medium range hand cream is totally worth it. Tip: apply and massage a small amount all over the hands first, like the size of a hazelnut. When it's absorbed, top-up just with a pea-size and massage where needed. That tube lasts long.

I keep Aveeno hand cream in my purse, next to my bed and by the kitchen sink. After our pandemic, I am still washing my hands A LOT and using alcohol based hand sanitizer. My hands and cuticles looked like I shoved them down the garbage disposal! Aveeno keeps the skin healthy and prevents the chapped and cracked skin. I use it multiple times a day and my skin thanks me for it!

Absorbs well but not my favourite hand cream

Firstly thank you to Beauty Heaven for allowing me to trial this product. I like to apply hand cream at night time so it has time to absorb into my skin. I have been applying this every night to my hands and they feel moisturised and smooth which is great as my hands are prone to getting dry and rough during winter. I like the texture of the hand cream and the consistency isn’t too runny or thick either. I am very sensitive to smells, particularly in hand creams as I apply them before bed and if they are too heavily fragranced it makes it harder for me to sleep. Unfortunately, this one has quite a strong smell to it and I can only put a small amount on my hands otherwise it’s too over powering for me. Best hand cream I have ever tried.

I was very excited to be on the trail team of this Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Relief Hand Cream product.This cream is able to moisturise the hands for up to 24 hours, locking in hydration and keeping skin soft and smooth all day long.It even lasts through hand washing, now this is where I really needed this product. I really don’t like it when I put hand cream on to help with my dry hands and within 20 minutes I would need to wash my hands again and it normally would remove the product. The greatest strength of this, for me, is that it’s non-greasy. Some hand creams make me feel as if I can’t touch anything for ten minutes after applying them; this Aveeno cream absorbed fast and didn’t feel greasy at all. It is effective, too, if not quite lasting all day. I found an application in the morning and at night was plenty. The aroma is so subtle that I didn’t really notice it, meaning that it wasn’t a distraction during the day.
