Aveeno, Kids, Face & Body Wash with Oat Extract, 18 fl oz (532 ml)

My child is slowly outgrowing his eczema and since he was a baby we have been loyal to Aveeno products because it is gentle on the skin and most of them have no scent. So when I received this product which claims that it is gently like their non-fragrance products I was super excited to open it and try it on my child. Let me start off with the packaging! The pump is perfect as it disperses enough amount each time. The soap gives you enough suds and when I applied it to my son's body it did not irritate his eczema and eyes so that was already a huge thing for me! He was also in a bath tub half filled with water so he was swimming all over this product and no issue during or after the bath. Long time Aveeno product fan, especially when it comes to their baby/kids products! But this was less than thrilling. I don’t normally go for completely unscented products for my son, as I reallly enjoy the calming scent of lavender products for his nighttime baths. But I was willing to give this a shot especially thinking it could be good for his sensitive skin! There really is NO scent whatsoever, those with allergies to perfume would do well with this. The lather was a bit underwhelming for me. If I can’t get a body wash to lather, I feel like it is doing absolutely nothing to clean the skin. I like this! My son and I both noticed the scent right away but not because it’s too fragrant, it’s not. It doesn’t smell like your typical kid’s wash. It’s a light scent thats fresh and clean (a bit fruity maybe). Not powdery or too sweet (or, dare i say, “too natural”). It smells like something I would use on myself but not as strong as adult washes. I feel body wash always either strips his skin or feels cheap and somewhat useless. 6 yo, Allergic reaction

I got this specific item because it is marketed as "hypoallergenic" and my kid has sensitive skin. We have used the aveeno baby products without issue so I assumed this would be OK for him. Within a minute of using this product, his entire face turned red and swollen and he had huge red splotches all over his belly and trunk. It is very likely that this won't happen to your kid- like I said, we know he has allergies to certain soaps. I just want to warn others who might have similar issues. Not sure what the difference is, but this is not as gentle as the aveeno baby items.

Great for sensitive skin

My kids have always had really sensitive skin. I have to be really careful about buying products for them that won't irritate their skin. This face & body wash from Aveeno is wonderful! It is hypoallergenic and safe for all skin types. It contains oat extract which is really soothing and leaves the kiddos' skin feeling super soft and hydrated. It is also tear free. This is so important for the little ones. The large size bottle is great and this will last us awhile. I highly recommend to parents with kids who have sensitive skin!

Great for sensitive skin!

I have been looking for a kids version of this product for years. In the past I've only been able to find this for babies or adults, so I was very excited to find this! My daughter has very sensitive skin so it's always important that we find something to accommodate that. This is not only for sensitive skin, but it's also a tear-free product. This product left my daughter's skin feeling smooth and didn't dry it out at all. The oat extract is a great addition as well. The scent wasn't overbearing but still left her smelling fresh and clean. I also appreciate the fact that it is recommended by pediatricians and dermatologists!

Great kids wash!

I love using this soap for my baby! His skin is so soft! I have even been able to skip lotion because it doesn’t have a drying effect like most others I’ve tried. It’s tear free which I know he appreciates. The pump is a great feature to make one handed washing easier. It has a delicate scent that isn’t overpowering, probably in part due to it being free from dyes, perfumes and parabens. Love that!! Aveeno is a great hypoallergenic brand and their baby products stands up to their high standards. I will definitely buy again.

My Review for the Aveeno - Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Wash highly recommend this, because it’s hypoallergenic and for sensitive skin, not only for kids, but adults as well. If you have extremely sensitive skin as an adult, this stuff is amazing. Me and my daughter both have sensitive skin, I even wash my face with this sometimes, because it’s gentle enough. My daughter had no reactions, no redness, rash, etc. The price is great and it’s worth it, as this is a big bottle 18oz.To our nose, it has a light fruity scent, no strong odor, we both love it.It doesn’t strip your skin of its natural oils, and it has no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, dyes and phenoxyethanol. I feel safe using this on my kids, you can’t go wrong with Aveeno.

Absolutely no issues or complaints with this product. It's suds when used or when pumped under running water at bathtime. I have 3 kids that tried it out and currently the littlest wants to use it the most. The pump is easy enough for him to use it (and never make a mess by using too much...). Gentle scent I think (I've been sick), biggest kid didn't love the smell but said there wasn't much of one. Middle kid likes the smell - so that detail is up to you and your kids to decide. I didn't mind what I smelled, nor did 2 kids, so it's a win for us. No issues with skin reactions here, and the littlest has been having sensitivity lately.
