Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Oat Repairing Cream

My daughter also suffers from dry skin patches during the winter weather and since this was delivered over a week ago I've been applying in the dry sensitive areas. Personally I've been using this cream on my feet and on my hands which often feel dry and itchy (as an avid baker and working with my hands in the holistic field you can't get away from dry skin) and I'm impressed at the results. The consistency of this product is not quite thick but you can feel it's applied to all the nooks and crannies of the skin. Though it's loose enough that it's able to be applied easily. So, a lightweight watery texture that's super hydrating and non greasy with no residue left behind. This product has a more concentrated formula of the key ingredients in other aveeno products, antioxidant prebiotic oat, soothing aloe and provitamin B5. Protects the bodies natural moisture barrier so it can heal. Free of fragrance, parabens, steroids and phthalates.

I work in a job that requires me to wash and sanitize my hands frequently and that often results in dry and cracked skin. With winter weather, its made it even worse. I typically use Vaseline but it doesnt readily absorb into the skin and often transfers to my clothes.This moisturizer works amazing. It has helped a lot with retaining moisture on my hands and theres noticeably less cracking after only a week of use. This Aveeno line is fantastic. Emollient but not sticky. A mild, relaxing scent that is almost unscented. The size is ideal. Ideal for people with sensitive skin. Excellent packaging. I use this every day after I shower. Throughout the day, my skin is moisturized. Excellent value for money. Good healthy ingredients make it a must-have for those who suffer from eczema and dry skin.

So happy I found this cream, my friends mum was going through chemo so I put together a care package and all the research I did highly recommend aveeno restorative skin therapy! I was nervous with how sensitive her skin was but she loved it! Delivery was fast and easy (as always with iHerb)! I personally have extremely dry skin / eczema/ psoriasis (especially on my hands and face) so I’ve been using aveeno products my whole life (becuase of how sensitive my skin is and how hard it is to find something that doesn’t make my skin feel like it’s on fire lol!) So when I saw it was oncologist tested I felt even more comfortable adding it to the chemo care package! Highly recommend:)

One of best things about Aveeno's Restorative Skin Therapy line for sensitive skin is that it is free of fragrance, parabens, steroids and phthalates. Now I will be honest here that I really had no idea that any of these creams would normally contain any steroids to begin with. (I'm seriously going to have to look into my products and pay closer attention to their ingredients.) I did like that this cream contained prebiotic oat, aloe & provitamin B5.I have only used this cream for a few days and I already notice a difference. My skin seems to have regained a bit of it's elasticity back. The cream is scentless which makes it great for those who take issue with smell in a cream. I truly look forward to testing out the rest of this line which includes a soothing body wash and an itch relief balm.

The cream isn't too heavy and absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. However, I did notice that it left behind, what felt like a light film/residue on my skin. Aveeno, I BEG you never discontinue this product! My skin has never felt healthier! I just love it so much! I was getting tired of hunting for "THE" miracle product, and I finally found it! Thank you Aveeno! The lack of anything nasty in this formulation is what caught my attention, and I'm so glad I gave this a try! Again, please NEVER discontinue this product or I'll be so disappointed as NOTHING else has ever worked, I'm in love! :)

I was sent a free sample of Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy repairing cream to try out and here is my honest opinion of what I think of this cream.Like most people I suffer year round from dry hands. The worst is now with the new normal of extra hand washing and sanitizing. Going through this daily process I feel my hands immediately tensing up and drying to the extent of leaving dry patches on my fingers. This is not a pleasant feeling and at times very uncomfortable. Also it becomes pretty costly to be trying out different creams until you find the right one.
