Aveeno Skin Relief Hand Mask 1 Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I often experience dry, itchy hands in the cooler months, plus all the extra hand washing and sanitising has really taken a toll on my hands and wrists, with them becoming quite sore and uncomfortable. I used the Aveeno hand mask after my nightly shower and just before going to bed to give the product time to absorb effectively. The gloves were easy enough to put on however I did have to get my husband to help me secure the second little tab around my wrist as this was a little tricky when you already have them both on. I left the gloves on for approximately 20 mins, after removing the gloves I did feel instant relief from the dry, itchy skin I had been experiencing on my hands & wrists. However, it was nearly impossible to use the sticky tabs located on the wrist to secure them in place. I know the product is fragrance free but they had a very strong, unpleasant plastic type smell so some essential oil of some sort would make the experience more pleasant. Once I removed the gloves after 10mins my hands felt very greasy for about 30 mins. However the whole treatment left my hands very soft for at least the next 24 hours, even with multiple hand washing and hand sanitiser use.

While waiting for the mask to take effect, I used my mobile device. Yes, the screen worked even though I was wearing gloves! After the allotted time, I cut the sticker to remove the gloves more easily. There was quite a bit of cream left, but I extended this up my arms. There was a slight almond scent, but not unpleasant. My fifty-year-old hands were left soft and moisturised. I would definitely use again.

My hands felt very soft and were no longer dry after using it but I didn't like the feel of the gloves on my hands. I felt like my hands were getting very sweaty inside the gloves and kept wanting to take them off. I resisted the urge though. I would buy this product myself though but only if my hands were very dry - not for regular use.

The mitts comes with plenty of product in them and I love the secure straps to make sure nothing leaks out while you're using them. Sadly I didn't get many great results. My hands and nails are chronically dry and I felt no difference after using this. The enticing ingredients noted on the front of the package seem to be in small amounts and quite low on the ingredients list on the back. Maybe a nice addition to a self-care day or manicure night, but I'm not convinced this hand mask is as helpful as it sounds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This was a great product. I liked that it came in a handy two-pack, so it feels "fresh" when you open it. Maybe the package could be a little smaller to reduce waste and be more transportable(for example to put into your air-travel kit). It was easy to open as well. The smell was pleasant- something that is very important to me as I don't like smelling like a chemical lab nor a fruit basket. There was hint of almond which i liked. The application was simple and allowed me to take 10 min out off my day without having to DO something all the time. The result was deeply replenished skin, finally the winter tightness and roughage was gone. Thank you!

Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Hand Mask 1pair - Short Dated Clearance

Great product will use again.Have dry sensitive skin, ad Aveeno products don't usually irritative so took as risk this would also be ok, and this was terrific.Easy to use, very soothing and deeply moisturizing.

Brilliant idea, average implementation

Gave these a go since in winter my hands are dry and cracking.A terrific idea but has much room for improvement:- One size fits all glove had poor fit with my hands, I had to do pretend hand washing movements to get the product applied. Using a computer keyboard was also difficult due to poor fit.If making a range of sizes isn't economic then perhaps the solution is regular nitrile gloves and a tube of aveeno ?Wore for 15 minutes then removed, hands were extremely greasy and product didn't absorb with further hand rubbing. Resorted to paper towels to remove excess product. Once excess removed, hands were mildly improved on pre-application state.Perhaps these should be used as an overnight treatment?
