Aveeno Skin Relief Soothing Shampoo is a godsend, especially for those with very dry and sensitive scalps. The colloidal oatmeal gently cleanses the hair while relieving itchy sensations related to dry scalp. It is the only shampoo my children can use without any flare ups due to their sensitive skin. For best results, I leave the shampoo on for several minutes before rinsing thoroughly. It's an excellent product that has left mine and my children’s’ hair soft and beautifully shiny while providing relief for irritated scalps. I use with Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion for optimal results. Highly recommend

Having used other Aveeno products in the past, I was disappointed in this and so was my wife. I have used a brand of shampoo for many years that helps me as I have a dry and sensitive scalp. After using this for a week, I found this shampoo to increase the dryness of my scalp and my dandruff came back. My wife used it and actually had almost an allergic reaction to it where here scalp became irritated and inflamed, resulting in a small patch of hair coming out. The shampoo itself smelt nice and felt nice to use, but I would not use it again.

I really do love this trusted brand, my daughter have very sensitive skin and so we have used this brand for many years to nourish her skin and keep it calm. I am really pleased with the shampoo as it is gentle and no added nasties that will flare her skin up.It helps to remove any flaking or dryness as well as cleaning the hair and scalp whilst providing a soothing feeling on the head. I have to say, this shampoo has been a game-changer for my dry, flaky scalp. It's been a challenge to find a shampoo that actually works, but this one has exceeded my expectations. The only reason I haven't given it five stars is that it seems to leave my hair a bit flat, and I find myself needing to wash my hair more often. Additionally, the price is on the higher side. However, when my scalp is particularly problematic, I will definitely buy this shampoo. Overall, it's one of the best options out there for anyone struggling with a dry and flaky scalp.
Ive not used Aveeno shampoo before now, but i must say its pretty good. The scent is mild and harmless, i really enjoyed it. Almost like a certain no tears branded shampoo.The ingrediants are pretty good, and the consistancy is lovely and silky. It doesnt foam up a ridiculous amount so is easy to wash out.This shampoo is great at leaving your scalp feeling really cleaned, soothed and not dried out at all, not more itchy scalp!The only gripe is it left my hair a little flat, so could do with a volumising version. but if you have naturally have more of a bounce in your hair you wont have a problem,.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this to a friend
A great shampoo for people who suffer from itchy scalp. I don't have any dandruff or any major reason for my itchy scalp, and I find this shampoo definitely soothes my scalp. It lathers up well, cleans the hair and scalp as well as moisturising it. It has no scent but I prefer it that way as I find fragrance can sometimes aggravate the itching. I love all Aveeno products as I find they all actually work and sooth itchy skin/scalp. Definitely recommend.

My daughter seems to have this same patch of dry flaky skin on her scalp that we have tried everything for, we’ve used different treatments for the last 6 months and although it thankfully doesn’t seem to cause her any bother it can be hard to find shampoos that are gentle enough to not make it worse and without strong chemicals. I have such problems with shampoo, and most after a short time I can’t use anymore. So far, I have had zero issues with this at all! There is a very light scent which is really nice. My hair feels super soft and clean, and not only that. No itchy scalp! A small amount of this foams up really well, and goes a long way. My mum has also started using it and finds it just as great as me! Very highly recommended, and will be using this from now on.
I suffer from an itchy scalp and always have done. There aren't very many products that actually seem to make a difference to an itchy scalp, but this is one of them. After using Aveeno Skin Relief Soothing Shampoo I was noticeably less itchy for the next couple of days.This is quite an expensive product but so far it has been well worth the price. I plan to keep using this long enough to determine whether it is better than my usual anti-itch shampoo. So far it is ticking all the boxes!If you're like me and suffer with an itchy scalp I'd highly recommend giving this shampoo a go. It might not be for you, but it also might work wonders so it's got to be worth a try.
