Aveeno Volumising Fresh Greens Blend Shampoo 354ml

This Aveeno shampoo is our go-to in the house now. I found it after looking for sulphate-free shampoos and I use it on its own, without conditioner. I try to be pretty minimal when it comes to hair care and having switched to sulphate-free shampoos, generally only wash my hair about once a week. This one does the job for me. I do wish there was a fragrance-free version of this line, but of the 3 Aveeno ones I've tried, I prefer the scent of this one by far. (The other two I've tried were the Oat Milk Blend and the Rose Water Chamomile Blend).

Impressive

My hair is wavy, fine but lots of it and dry at the ends. I ordered this shampoo and the conditioner last week to see what they would do for my flaky, irritated scalp which never seems to feel clean. The difference is quite remarkable - it feels soothed and usually starts to flake again a few hours after washing but no more! Both shampoo and conditioner have a nice fresh, subtle fragrance as well. I've just ordered another set for next weeks delivery.

Irritant free

I regularly colour my hair and it can become dry and dull and weighed down. I tried the AVEENO apple cider vinegar blend shampoo, over a daily period of 2 weeks. You only need a tiny amount to gain a really good lather and it smells divine, it is easy to rinse and leaves no heavy residue, so I found my hair quick to dry.It left my hair, smelling really fresh and clean, and shiny. It also felt less dry and my scalp felt less irritated. I noticed that my colour remained fresh and bright after many washes.The shampoo is somewhat expensive but it’s good quality with natural ingredients and does work in keeping my coloured hair fresh and shiny and my scalp irritant free.

Light and lovely

I was sceptical about how this would smell, but it actually smells lovely. I checked with my hairdresser as I colour my hair a lot and she said it would be fine. I have been getting a lot of product build up which makes my hair greasy and heavy. This has really helped and hasn't washed out my colour either, which I was worried about. Only downside is the price.

Loving using this

My hair generally gets greasy at the roots but is dry at the ends. This shampoo has worked so well for me! It’s a very thick gel which was a bit strange to work with it first... it takes a bit of working in to get a nice lather. Due to the ‘vinegar’ I thought it might not smell that great... it’s actually a very fresh, pleasant apple scent. It leaves my hair feeling really clean, without drying out my scalp or my ends. Also left my hair much shinier than what I was using previously.My boyfriend has also been using it and he generally suffers with dandruff and an itchy scalp. He’s said this hasn’t irritated his scalp as many other shampoos do and had also enjoyed using it.

I was very curious to use this product due to the assurance of a voluminous effect. I was also intrigued by the cleansing ability. Particularly as the product is almost a gel like consistency. The gentle ingredients used in the ‘Fresh Greens Blend’, consisting of cucumber water, rosemaryoil & especially the peppermint extract certainly appealed to me. I felt l had to use rather a lot of this product on my long blonde fine hair, as l didn’t feel as though l had sufficient coverage. I didn’t feel my scalp was particularly soothed. Although l don’t consider l have scalp irritation anyway. The cleansing ability was no better than other cheaper brands l have used. Therefore, my hair didn’t feel nourished thereafter. So far so good

Bought this shampoo for my daughter as her hair is fine and no volume . The shampoo smells fresh layers good and after coupke of washes we noticed a bit more volume to her hair . What ibwould recomend is actually with the conditioner to stay on for the time that they actually say on tbe bootle 3-5 min as i noticed if is less the hair will not be as softGreat price / offer as well i bought a few bootles

Softening Shampoo that creates volume!

Bought this shampoo to alleviate my dry scalp and my thinning hair and thankfully I have not been disappointed. The shampoo is clear, with a gentle fragrance. It lathers well, and cleanses the hair without drying it out. It feels exceptionally soft after rinsing too. I have been using the co-ordinating Aveeno Fresh Greens Conditioner alongside the shampoo, and I am delighted with how my hair feels. It has probably taken a week of daily use for me to reap the full volumising benefits, but it really works, and therefore totally recommend this shampoo, and I will continue to purchase in the future. It is expensive, but for me, I think it’s worth it, as it makes my hair feel great, and in turn makes me feel great.

Turned my hair into a frizz ball

Bought this shampoo and conditioner yesterday as I’ve started getting a really itchy scalp and this was recommended. Washed my hair today and cannot believe how bad it has made my hair. My scalp is not as itchy but my hair looks absolutely trashed it feels completely stripped and even after conditioner it’s a mass of frizz. This is the worst my hair has ever looked. I don’t know why this has done this to my hair it’s says in the bottles leaves hair shiny. I feel so angry too expensive when I’m not working to use once would not risk using this again. Don’t know what I’m going to have to do to fix what it’s done to my hair.

WoW!

Struggled for a long time with dandruff. I was depleting my hair due to over washing because of my being a chef and my hair getting greasy really quickly. Tried everything from head and shoulders, t-gel and ginger shampoos to natural soap bars. I saw this and though I’d give it a try. Used it 3 times a week every time I washed my hair for 2 weeks and my dandruff is gone! It’s kept it at bay now for 3 months! Will never go back!It’s worth every penny, smells good as well, Not acidly like I thought it was going to be and left my scalp feeling great and my hair really shiny and silky.
