I bought this to give water to my 6 month old as I realised she refused water from her Philips Avent milk bottle. She did not like it on the first use but now she enjoys drinking water from it as she can hold it herself with the help of the detachable handles on the cup. I have two complaints from this product. One there is no measurement given on it and secondly the flow of the liquid is two much for a baby drinking from it for the first time cause of the wide opening in the nipple would be better for a bit pulpy juices. The nipples for this bottle are also not available from FirstCry.com or FirstCry stores so you need to buy a whole new bottle if you want a new nipple.

So when I tried these I expected the same results, I was however pleasantly surprised to see she accepted it very easily. I think that as the top Is very flexible similar to the teat on her baby bottle is the reason for the easier transition.The flow is great she doesn't ever choke on getting too much water out of her bottle nor does she seem to take ages drinking due to little coming out.The bottle is nice and easy for her to grip onto with either one or two hands which is good as it means I don't have to hold it for her. Also, the cup is short and the handles prevent it from sitting stable in the cup holder of her car seat, but, that is not a deal breaker for me! This product is so useful for 6+ month babies. They can easily hold it. One can practice the baby to drink water through this sipper. I used it for my 6 month baby, however she didn’t drink much from it as of now but I have to practice her. Product is very useful once your baby start drinking from it.
