I was given the Philips Avent Nighttime Ultra Air Pacifier for my baby to try as a part of the stellar product testing panel. Overall, my son really seemed to like this pacifier. The nipple part was slightly larger than the pacifiers he was using so that did take a little bit of adjusting. I loved the open areas or vents on the sides. My son seems to drool a lot and has had issues with the skin around his mouth becoming irritated do to not staying dry. This pacifier allowed air to get to the skin which has helped the irritation tremendously! The glow-in-the-dark button is helpful for middle of the night diaper changes. The button glows bright so that you don’t have to turn the light on to find the pacifier. As a parent, the less I have to turn on the bright lights ... It seems pretty quick to charge the glow-in-the-dark feature too. I think the look of the pacifier is cute while not being too baby-ish. The muted, darker colors are adorable and match a lot of outfits if that's something you're interested it. There is a cute little moon and stars on the button. In the past, I've always sterilized pacifiers in bowling water but I actually used this sterilizing case. It was very easy to do. Just fill the water up to the line on the case and pop it in the microwave for 3 minutes. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about with this pacifier was that my son liked to pay with it more than the typical pacifier I buy. He liked the ring that is on it so he makes a game of pulling it out of his mouth by the ring. He also likes to turn the pacifier sideways so it is more vertical in his mouth than the horizontal direction it should be. Sometimes I feel like he is distracted by playing with it when he should be using it as a soother. While he did find the pacifier fun, it never kept him awake and did it's job when needed as a soother. I would add this pacifier to my list of recommendations to other moms.

The concept is really intriguing however, and it seems like a great multi-use feature. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed and grateful for this pacifier and will be recommending it to everyone I meet who may be struggling like we were.

Love these pacifiers! They glow so well I’m not left hunting with my phone flashlight in the middle of the night to find it. It also helps my son to be able to find it in his crib. The nipple is smooth and almost silky feeling so my son transitions between breast and pacifier smoothly. His skin also stays dry at night between the nipple shield shape and the air flow cutouts. This is important since we don’t want chapped skin. The shield is also flexible so it isn’t uncomfortable for my son to sleep while using this.The travel and sanitizer box is ingenious because I always like having extra pacifiers in the diaper bag and this tucks away so nicely. These handles are the best because they aren’t super heavy but they are sturdy.The colors on these are really nice. They aren’t crazy and bright. I like the warm tones and these really appeal to me. I love how avent is always improving upon their products and keep up with the trends. I trust them for my baby but also appreciate them for me.
