I bought 2x of the A1 sized poster frames. The product itself is extremely flimsy and definitely not worth the money I paid. The Perspex does not stay within the frame and with any slight movement it pops out. Would not recommend purchasing this item. Save you money. Extremely disappointing for almost $180 spent!

We ordered a framed print on-line from Freedom. The package came promptly and in excellent condition. All we had to do was go to an art gallery to get a wire to hang the picture horizontally. The picture has a very special place in our dining room. I need an additional picture for my bedroom and will order via freedom. I am very impressed how Freedom provides avenues for indigenous prints. We chose an indigenous print on a large scale. I have also purchased a number of print directly from the shop especially during the sales. I have always enjoyed the artwork on offer at freedom.

These frames are great for under $50 compared to similar ones at different framers for $150. They do the job and look great and if your artwork doesn’t fit, you can easily get another mat cut for about $30 at a framing shop, which still makes the frame inexpensive compared to custom framing. I bought them in black and also in White and put them in groups on the walls. They look terrific.

The hooks on the back of the frame cannot hold their own weight and ripped out. The wood can’t hold the frame’s weight either and will just bend completely and detach from the glass/plastic. I have tried all sorts of workarounds buying new hooks and wires but it is just way too unstable. Very disappointed. Even though they are relatively cheap, they are not worth the money, complete waste. Smaller sizes might work but forget the A1.
This is a rather cheap frame what warps due to the size of the opening. This means the clear viewing panels tries to fall out when handling the frame and the frame is easily out of 'square'.The view panel, pretty sure its plastic is very very reflective meaning its impossible to clearly see the art without reflection and glare from natural and artificial light.One the the hanging clips also popped off when hanging the artI brought three frames, 2x A3 and 1X A1 and I hate them.Would not recommendAlso the service instore was very average. The gents behind the counter were much we interested in their personal chat than their work.
At this size the frame becomes super flimsy. The plexiglass glass is a really thin piece of acrylic, because it's so thin and bendy it provides no strength, the backing board is also super flimsy. The frame is also not real wood, poor quality and bends easily. Upon hanging the frame instantly warped, as did the plexiglass and backing board, creating a big gap. The back is now being held together with masking tape, and I've attached it to the wall with 3M strips, the strength of the strips on the frame will hopefully help to hold it together, and I think if I was to use the loops on the back it'll just fall apart. I would recommend checking out Spotlight, The Warehouse, or Kmart for a much cheaper alternative, likely to be the same or better quality.
When I got home after collecting this as a click&collect I realised one corner of the frame had been seriously mishandled. The corner was crushed, the backing board damaged and the perspex cracked - all concealed under the corner protector under plastic!!I don't live close to a store, so to return the product is an inconvenience and an expense for me.If you're purchasing this in store, open all of the cardboard corner protectors before you leave to make sure you don't end up in the same situation.
The look, the quality, and the feel of the frame is splendid. Looks good on my wall and gives that refreshing vibe. The selection of the color isn't varied but this look was the one that I was looking for to decorate my house, so I'm so satisfied with this! The service was great as well. When I went to collect it, the receptionist went with me with the trolley to my car so that I won't need to bring them to the car myself. đź‘Ť
Was really dissapointed. I was looking for glass but didnt realise that "plexi glass" is just perspex/plastic. The frame itself is lightweight and whilst trying to handle inserting my artwork the perspex kept slipping through to the other side. This continued after i had closed the backing and i ended up having to use framers tape to keep together. I paid full price at 99.95 and whilst i didn't expect superb quality (frames are expensive) it was not worth it unfortunately.
Unfortunately this was a huge disappointment you’ve changed suppliers & the quality is terrible. Your whole supply in shop is damaged. You can’t really tell until you unwrap. So people will continue to return them. The plastic fake glass is scratched on all of your stock. I was told they will stay on the shelf nothing they could do about it.
