I purchased this for my 5 month old along with an assortment of other toys. This is hands-down her favorite. The under-side of the octopus has a silky texture that my baby loves mouthing. It is also visually stimulating. The facial expression is cheerful and makes my baby smile, giggle and coo. I love that this toy plays music and also teaches color recognition. This is an easy item to take along in the diaper bag and is also great for tummy time.

Excited to buy this toy; however, it is very faulty. You can press a color but itāll always default to either white or brown & wont complete the button pressed additionally, it has to be turned off after use as itāll continue saying white like a broken record.

Iāve had this toy for two years, though it hasnāt seen much activity until my daughter arrived 9 months ago. it is one of her absolute favorite toys and itās kept her interest really well as her development has evolved. I love the different languages. I wish I could find more toys with that feature! And the classical music really seems to appeal to her. Sheās recently started ādancingā to it. No problems whatsoever with malfunctioning, and it gets a lot of use!

Oh my god! This octoplush helps to improve sad mood so many times, I couldnāt believe itās true, but he works so good! I think the magic in its melodies which are really so nice!!! Appreciate everyone who made this miracle octopus! Wonderful! It has worked from 3 months and still working for 8 mo, when he starts to crie, omg it helps so much! Must have!
FYI They do not include batteries with this toy!! I sent it to my grandson and my daughter had to go to the store and get 2 AA batteries before they could even use it. Poor on the part of Baby Einstein not including batteries. I will probably stay away from buying Baby Einstein products again because of this. When you send children gifts, you expect that they will be able to use it when it arrives. Luckily, this was a gift for a 3 month old not his 2 year old sister.

This toy was great, and my daughter really enjoyed it, but itās stopped working. The songs the head plays only pay for a moment before ending, and the colors on the legs donāt work at all. They play part of an ending to one of the songs from the head. Super disappointed to come here and read several reviews of the same issues going back a few years. Wonāt be buying another, itās a waste of money.
I have replaced this Octoplush 3 times now and each time it has lasted for about 2 weeks and then the sound components stop working. Regardless of the tentacles you press it will start to play the sound and then cuts to the initial start up melody. My son loves it when it works but I'm tired of replacing this faulty octopus!
This toy is wonderful! My granddaughter loves it. It's for 3months and up and I know she will get enjoyment from it for A LONG time. It's soft and bebe safe. Just wish it came in purple or pink. I love that it has SO MANY DIFFERENT MUSIC choices by touching the face. Each tentacle has colors which can be set in Eng, Spanish or French. There is also a volume control. Absolutely worth every penny!
i liked it wt first but started messing up after a month or less of use. the songs kept stoping at the very beginning. now it glitches and we cant get it to stop, its stuck playing one note over and over. dont waste your money
