Bought these for my daughter who gets bored reading regular books but loves graphic novels. These books have been perfect for her!

This book series was bought because my 12 year wanted it and she's the one who likes the series.So I figured that if my 12 year likes this series enough to be reading then it okay with me as long as it got her reading and not on electronics.

The books are great but his item had to be reordered because the first online order was cancelled without any notification because it wasn't picked-up at the store within 6 days. When placing the second order immediately after receiving the cancellation, the same store showed that the item was not in stock, which was obviously inaccurate. Finally, some erroneous information was automatically populated when placing the order online and the online customer service rep could not change any information regarding the order because it was a in-store pick-up. The people at the store were helpful but I should never have had to call them to correct something as simple as contact information.

My 8 year could not get into reading. She loses focus and gets overwhelmed by all the words on the page. I found these, and she has been hooked. The art is beautiful and they did a great job turning the original stories into graphic novels. I love that I can finally share my favorite book series from my childhood with my daughter, but in a fun way. I highly recommend graphic novels if you have a kid you are struggling with reading with.
I would recommend for 10-17 years to read the book because you can read in your spare time. I remember when the first series came out original book.
