I bought this one over the move version as this is up to 3 years and even though I will not be carrying my baby until 3 years, my boyfriend certainly will. The move one is only up to 15 months. The air mesh is also extremely comfortable and soft for baby.

We bought the Free carrier back in 2020 when our first baby was born, I gave it to my sibling when they had their baby and we are now using it for our second baby born this year and I cannot recommend this product enough. I came back to the website 3 years later just to write a review for any parents debating between the tons of carriers out there. This carrier is amazing for your back and shoulders as baby gets heavier and the long sessions of using it. It is so easy to get on and off and get baby adjusted. It is even easier to clean and adjust as needed. This product has gone through 3 years and 3 babies and is still in perfect condition. WORTH IT!

I was looking forward to using this carrier but it has too many straps and buckles. Of course it feels very safe and secure, however my daughter (8 weeks) always gets very distressed being places inside, the buckles take too long to fix, and it feels too much like you are squashing her in. If it was so bit simpler I could get her in without her really noticing. It is also difficult to adjust the straps when on your own . Once walking in it she is very happy and loves looking around. Bear in mind you still need to support their head really until they can self support, as the back part of the carrier is a little floppy. Of course you can't fault the Baby Bjorn quality but I'm going to try a fabric carrier now instead!

As a new mom, I was concerned about using a carrier for my baby. Concerned for my baby’s safety and for my back! I was pleasantly surprised when the carrier was not only safe and supportive, but also comfortable to wear. Three years later I found that the bottom clip had broken when I took it out after her sister was born. I wrote to the company because I could not figure out how to order a new clip. They sent me a new clip quickly and I’m now carrying her sister around in the same carrier. I’m so impressed with the product and the customer service that I recommend this carrier to everyone I know!

I initially saw this carrier featured as a great option for petite people since I am 5’2”. I found that many structured carriers were too long, and I found the wraps cumbersome. I needed something that I could easily throw baby in in the back seat of my car as an alternative to the car seat baby carrier that is too heavy for me. This has been perfect! Even though it doesn’t have lumbar support, I’ve found that as a short person, if I make sure the straps in the back cross below my shoulder blades, it acts like lower back support. This is honestly one of the best baby items I have ever purchased. It is so simple and easy to use, fast to assemble each time of use. Very comfortable for baby and myself - all carriers seem to be strain on your back after a while but this one is all round the best as I have tried a few.This carrier was a game changer for us and allowed us to get some freedom back in the early baby stages. We are still using it regularly now our baby is 6 months old and will continue to do so until she grows out of it! We recently turned her around so she is now front facing now she is awake most of the day and likes to see everything. This option requires no extra effort to change either.Amazing carrier and great value for money. So worth spent for us.
Easy and simple to clip in! Baby feels secure and comfortable. Not bulky and easy to pack in diaper bag. We really love it! However I will say that recently approaching 3 months old, it has become too much on my back and shoulders. Once he weighed 12lbs+ I noticed that my back would hurt even after a short walk. And I’m not particularly prone to back pain but also not a body builder either lol. Not sure who can keep a 12 month old in this. I’m purchasing another one with more support now, but if I could go back I would still buy this carrier even if only for the first few weeks/months due to how simple it is.
Really good carrier that can adjust to adults size really well however my baby is 4 months old and I find that the top clips annoy my son if he’s awake and they’re not adjustable. I originally had an ergo carrier that didn’t fit me at all but this one fits perfect. Super comfy and lots of back support. I wish the bottom bit was a little wider to make it slightly more comfortable for my son to get his legs into the desired ‘m’ shape. I’m probably being a little too picky but I would definitely use this for my next child. Folds down super small. Easy to get on and off when you’re alone unlike other carriers.

This carrier is great for young babies and the extra support is nice if you have a heavier baby. My baby is always happy in this carrier. I also like that it has some structure making it much easier to put on quickly. I like how it fits taller babies. It fits both my husband (6”4) and myself (5”5). I can’t imagine using this carrier with a baby over 20lbs as the pocket the baby slips into is not adjustable in width and the lumbar support is not enough for that weight. Realistically, this carrier is best for 0-6 or 7 months depending on your baby’s size. I think the price is steep for something that will only last half a year and I do not know how comfortable the carrier will be for babies as they get bigger.
