I bought the air one carrier it’s really lovely it’s made of cotton it’s a little heavier than the air mesh but both are great the air one is good for colder weather as it is solid, while the air one mesh is better for spring and summer as it allows a breeze through the material and keeps you cooler. I’ve been using it with a snow suit though! Ones all I need and gifted the other to a friend. When you first look at it it seems complicated and like there’s lots going on but you just put it over your shoulders fasten the hip belt and snap baby in! Just a reminder to unzip the front by the belt linebacker I put my baby in without realising and he started crying... I noticed his legs were spread apart really wide and I hadn’t unzipped it! So have them unzipped and zip up after they’re inside :) 5* highly recommend

I feel very comfortable that my daughter is safe once she gets into the carrier, but it is a little difficult to get her in. She often cries and a few times I had her legs in a wired position - I had to look in the mirror as she's screaming to fix it. Once she's in though, the hip strap does a good job keeping her weight distributed and we've taken long walks successfully. As a newborn (I loved that I could start using this once she was 8 lbs), she often fell asleep in the carrier and it was a great way to get out and take a walk for myself. I do worry her legs look a little spread, but I guess that's normal. Now she's 5 months and although there weren't ... As a new mom, I was concerned about using a carrier for my baby. Concerned for my baby’s safety and for my back! I was pleasantly surprised when the carrier was not only safe and supportive, but also comfortable to wear. Three years later I found that the bottom clip had broken when I took it out after her sister was born. I wrote to the company because I could not figure out how to order a new clip. They sent me a new clip quickly and I’m now carrying her sister around in the same carrier. I’m so impressed with the product and the customer service that I recommend this carrier to everyone I know!

Although the BabyBjorn Carrier One is suitable from birth (3.5kg and above) I don't think a structured carrier offers the same support as a wrap but having said that for those wanting to use it from the start, not having to buy a separate newborn insert is a big positive. In addition to the BabyBjorn I also have a Connecta. The BabyBjorn is a great carrier particularly for those who are inexperienced with baby wearing as it's really easy to put on and get baby in. Once you're used to them, the clips are very secure and easy to use. It's a comfortable carrier with padded straps and waist band. Having said that it's very bulky. My ... As of yet I've only carried her on my front facing me. We will back carry when she's older and although she's old enough to carry facing outwards (not an option with the Connecta) I do not feel that her hips are supported in this position and so it's not something I personally will be doing. I still carry my eldest daughter in my Connecta from time to time but by the time she was 3 she had already exceeded the maximum 15kg carrying weight of the BabyBjorn. Overall, the BabyBjorn is a practical yet stylish looking unisex carrier. It comes with a fairly hefty price tag but for that you get a well-made carrier that is easy to use and is comfortable for both baby and mum or dad (as my partner can vouch for).

When our baby was 3 weeks old, fathers persistance prevailed and he got it for his birthday, as requested:)). According to himself, the best gift he has got! It looks really nice and has a good quality. After 5 minutes of practicing, father was able to add/remove baby with ease. We havent tried to move the position to the back yet as baby is too small to loose him from infront of our eyes:)). We use it a lot while at home actually. Baby is close, feels supported and comfy while I and father (depends who carries) are ‘hands free’. I can even make a dinner while baby is in there and close to me, father is often working behind laptop while baby is on his stomach ... First of all, it allows the child to maintain the position recommended by pediatricians: hips in M and back in C position. It is only necessary to learn to position it well, but it is very simple! I recommend watching explanatory videos on youtube. Then it is very easy to adapt to completely different builds. My husband is 1.90 m tall, I 1.64m tall. The different belts can be adjusted in an instant so you can change and wear it on the street! And then it's confortable! We walk for hours (it is much more practical to go out with this than with the stroller) and we have no back pain! The fabric (3 D mesh) is of excellent quality, light, does not sweat, machine washable! The only slight lack is a protection for the sun, but it can be avoided by wearing a hat! This is my holy grail of all baby gear. My little one has to be up and moving so I use this carrier all day every day. It’s the only way I can get anything done! And I love that you can use it for both forward and backwards facing. I used a wrap carrier for when my lo was a newborn because I felt like it was more cozy but I always had to have a hand on the back of her head. I love that with this one you can (cautiously) bend over hands free, it makes laundry and dishes a millionX easier.

Everything is regulated.5) Compact, lightweight. We will definitely take it with us on our next vacation.
