BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Original - Black, Cotton

My little niece is 2-month old did not like any slings/carriers and it wasn't from a lack of trying. Finally, we came across the Babybjörn Baby Carrier One Air. We were skeptical as we had tried so many carriers but we were so pleasantly surprised. And just in time too! We had to travel with our little boy and not having something to carry him in was a big headache. But we didn't need to worry, after a few 'getting used to' sessions he was totally happy to be carried in the Babybjörn Baby Carrier One Air and even fell asleep in it. This is a great product to have for young babies. It helped me carry a colicky baby around while I was alone and allowed me to continue cooking/cleaning and taking care of another baby. I have used this through 2 kids-hence the stain and used looking carrier. It was worth every penny. My only complaint is that my back kills me after using this with a bigger baby.

This was the first baby carrier I bought when our first was born in 2014. I still have it. In fact I was wearing it today with our fourth baby in it. This carrier is so easy and fast to put on and to place baby inside. It takes literally 20 seconds. This original model has very unique snaps and side closures. This is the feature that makes it very easy and fast to put on and place baby inside. You can carry baby both forward and rear facing. It does have a weight limit of 8 lbs, that weight being the smallest size baby you can put in it. So if your newborn is smaller than 8 lbs, you will need to get a Moby style or sling style baby wrap to use. This wrap washes well in the washing machine. I let it it air dry after washing it. A well-designed and much loved piece of baby equipment

The Bliss Bouncer is a really well-designed product, it has clearly been made with the baby's comfort in mind. My previous bouncer seemed to hold my baby in an uncomfortable position with the straps digging into his legs as he grew bigger but the Bliss secures my baby whilst keeping him comfortable and happy. The fact it lasts up until he is two years old is fantastic, what a great idea to remove the straps! I have never come across one with this before.I also really love that it has different position settings. It adjusts really easily underneath so I can sit him up when we are playing and simply lay him down when he gets sleepy.It has a really simple design so it will fit into any modern household. Initially I thought it was a bit plain for a baby product but really a baby chair doesn't need to be bright and colourful as they are sitting in it, not looking at it. I do think it could do with some loops or something to attach toys/teethers to as I found it hard to attach things. My baby will often only stay in a seat if he has something to chew on or play with, but regularly drops anything I give him, meaning I would have to keep returning them to him.My favourite thing about the Bliss Bouncer is how smooth and gentle the bounce is. You barely have to put any effort into bouncing it, just gently tap your foot on the edge. This is something I have found to be annoying with other bouncers. My baby hasn't figured out how to rock himself yet, but when he does it will be even better!Last but not least, this bouncer is easily portable. It folds down so it's easy to pop in the car, giving your baby somewhere to rest when visiting parents/friends etc. It also makes it easy to tidy away in the evenings when it's not in use. This was very handy for us as we live in a small flat where space is limited.Overall I think this is a great bouncer. It is a little on the expensive side, however I think the clever design and the fact it lasts to two years justifies the price.

We like to go out and to busy festivals and stuff and I always see people dragging or carrying their exhausted kids around or chasing them around or better yet- yelling at strangers to get out of their way because they decided to being a giant stroller with them to overcrowded public places. The carrier is an obviously wonderful alternative to these issues because it's easier for you and baby to get around without being cumbersome or heavy and they can even sleep warm all cuddled right up against you.Lastly, when I use it THE MOST but never thought of it until I became a parent: groceries with new babies and quick errands. Until your baby is several months you can't put them in the grocery "seat" because they can't sit up or hold their head up and it's just not made for that. They do make carriages with special seats but they're hard to come by (my local grocery store doesn't even have them.) Or you could put their car seat in the carriage and try to fit the groceries around them (ridiculous and a little dangerous.) You're certainly not going to bring in the stroller and try to push both a stroller and a carriage if groceries too (if you do, good luck!) USE THE BJORN CARRIER! If you're alone and you need to get milk at the store or pick up the dinner you ordered, your options are to bring the kid into the store in the stroller which is cumbersome and ridiculous, carry them in the carseat which is heavy and also ridiculous, physically carry them around the store while you shop and pick things up, or use the bjorn carrier (USE THE BJORN CARRIER!)

Putting him into the carrier takes a few goes to get the hang of it and develop confidence, if you are a bit nervous do it in front of the mirror a couple of times and then you will get used to where the straps lock in, it is only a one person job once you do it a few times. All straps are adjustable and this is very useful because almost everyday either I carry him or my partner does and we are difference sizes in height, shoulder and chest size!!! The carrier is very light but yet so sturdy and made of high quality materials that will last a long time.This isn't an accessory that will be obsolete after a few months, I can easily see this being used for a number of years, it appears to be adjustable without any need to buy any additional accessories.Badge on the front often sparks conversations with fellow parents about Baby Bjorn products, after buying the cover we understand the cult following of this brand. Cover is also made of excellent material and is finished to excellent quality. I will definitely be looking at their range for future purchases like the high chair or potty based on our experience of Baby Bjorn products thus far.

I am a mum of two (6 months and 3 years) and carry my youngest daughter everyday. For the first couple of months I used a stretchy wrap. Although the BabyBjorn Carrier One is suitable from birth (3.5kg and above) I don't think a structured carrier offers the same support as a wrap but having said that for those wanting to use it from the start, not having to buy a separate newborn insert is a big positive.In addition to the BabyBjorn I also have a Connecta. The BabyBjorn is a great carrier particularly for those who are inexperienced with baby wearing as it's really easy to put on and get baby in. Once you're used to them, the clips are very secure and easy to use. It's a comfortable carrier with padded straps and waist band. Having said that it's very bulky. We will back carry when she's older and although she's old enough to carry facing outwards (not an option with the Connecta) I do not feel that her hips are supported in this position and so it's not something I personally will be doing. I still carry my eldest daughter in my Connecta from time to time but by the time she was 3 she had already exceeded the maximum 15kg carrying weight of the BabyBjorn.Overall, the BabyBjorn is a practical yet stylish looking unisex carrier. It comes with a fairly hefty price tag but for that you get a well-made carrier that is easy to use and is comfortable for both baby and mum or dad (as my partner can vouch for).

9 weeks ago I became a first time mum. Everyone prepared me for the labour pain (which was not that bad anyway) but noibe prepared me for a sleepless nights, cronic back pain or starvation. :) I love my baby tremendously (don't get me wrong) but being at home with no help at all during the week it is hard to find a way to eat, move around or just rest your hands. I have spent the past 9 weeks carying my baby in a cotton sling that she started to hate lately or in my arms. My baby dislikes her pram, her bedside cot but lives mummy's arms. So went shopping with my husband and tried th babybjorn in store as my baby was crying in her pram. The minute I've put her in the Baby carrier one she stopped crying and fell back asleep. She sleeps in it straight away and trust me, I have a fussy little princess. I also manage to do all sorts of stuff around the house and yesterday I joined one of my friends for a long walk. I was not able to do this previously as my baby cries in her pram. So what more can I say more than I am actually functional having this carrier and also my baby loves it to bits. I can go out without getting stressed that she will cry or wake up upset. I am even planning on taking the pram and the carrier together and use the carrier for comfort whenever she starts crying in her pram. Oh, adn let me tell you the best part, yesterday I managed to eat a soup as I had free hands. But you do need to be careful while doing this. To be honest, this is the best thing I've bought so far for me and my baby. Next step: showing daddy how to use it!

This is a massive positive for me, as just having a baby I am really conscious of my stomach and hate my tops coming up.- My baby loves this carrier and actually prefers it to the pram. My second baby is currently 10 weeks old. Having a toddler at home too, I find myself relying quite heavily on the hands-free benefits of baby wearing. My newborn was big at birth, but it's taken me until now (6kgs) to feel comfortable putting her in this carrier. Before now, I felt she was positioned too low down, so I elected to use an alternative carrier. Weight distribution is great, and the carrier makes light work of my 6kg baby. Initially a bit of a faff to get on and get baby into, I'm now getting more comfortable with the straps and buckles, I've found this experience similar with most other carriers I've used. It's quite bulky, but that's to be expected with the amount of weight distribution and support it offers the wearer. I'd definitely recommend this ... MoreMy second baby is currently 10 weeks old.
