BabyBjorn Black Mesh Light Travel Cot

I was looking for a travel crib, and purchased this one due to high reviews. When I opened it I was a bit sceptical since the mattress is so thin, but I purchased mattes cover and decided to give it a try at our trip. - crib is lightweight and nicely packaged in a bag, easy to bring along - easy to set up and disassemble… literally takes 2 minutes - baby took two naps / day and slept through the night for a week without issues !!! Same as in her crib at home!!! So I assume it is comfortable! - she even likes to sit in this thing and play Definitely worth every penny! Happy baby, happy parent! :)

Baby sleeps, Everyone sleeps!

We researched for a long time into which travel cot to buy as we would be using it a lot. We were looking for a safe, comfortable, and light travel cot that could last for a couple of years at least. This BabyBjorn travel cot light comes with its own carry bag and though it will not fit into our suitcase, it only weighs around 6kg, so it is not too heavy to carry. Fortunately, this was not a major problem as I still managed to lower my baby ok but someone with backaches could potentially find this challenging. The best thing about this travel cot however was how quickly my baby got used to it. I did compare the internal cot space before purchase and confirmed that she would have enough room to roll around. The mattress was of a decent thickness and helped baby fall asleep just as quickly as she would at home. Glad we made the right decision to purchase BabyBjorn Travel Cot Light at the end.

Beautiful, stylish and functional

I absolutely love this play yard! Not only is it gorgeous, it was incredibly easy to put together. And I imagine just as easy to fold back up, with the simple design. The mattress pad is so thick, our 6 month old loved it the very first time she laid in it. The mesh is also very easy to see through, even for the dark green color. We were worried it would be like other brands we've tried with black mesh, but even at night, on the baby monitor, it's easy to see baby's face. The padding around the top is very soft as is the mesh. It's so light and easy to move around when baby isn't in it, and takes up such a small footprint,it's great for smaller spaces.

Fits in overhead storage on the plane!

Great

This travel cot is lightweight and easy to use/set up. When folded, it takes less space than other travel cots I have used in the past, which is excellent for storage. When open, it still provides enough space for the baby to sleep comfortably, plus the mattress is extra comfortable. The only thing I can see as a downside is that it feels less sturdy than other travel cots but that's what you get if you're looking for a lightweight one :)Overall, this is truly a great addition to our baby travel equipment!

But, I chose to buy it in the end as Babybjorn has an excellent reputation and also I recently bought their baby bibs which have been a lifesaver in keeping my little ones' clothes clean and dry.What's great about the Travel Cot Light is how easy it is to set up. It took less than a minute for me to put it up and subsequently put it down. The mattress is really solid and my little one has had no problems sleeping in it, we also pop him in there often to play when I need to do some chores around the house. The mesh lining is definitely useful as it means I can see what he is doing without looking into the cot all the time. My baby sleeps anywhere in the World!

BEST travel crib on the market! We ordered this and the Guava brand to try. The baby Bjorn is faster and easier to assemble and break down. It also comes with a far superior mattress. It packs thin enough to fit anywhere in the car or a large suitcase for flying. We have taken our 5 month old baby to Europe, California, and numerous other places using this crib. It creates a comfortable and consistent environment no matter where in the world we are. I can still get a 10-12 hour stretch of sleep every night in it, just like in his full size crib! I also pack this to friends houses in case he needs a nap or a safe place to play. I own many baby Bjorn products, and each one of them is incredibly well built and loved by my baby.

No doubt about it - best travel crib!

The mattress is super nice, especially together with the crib sheet. And everything is super easy to take out and put away, snug in its bag. Looks nice, sturdy for my restless 1 year old. I was in between this and the Lotus Guava and decided the mattress for this was more important than the side zipper. Can’t wait to take this on trips!

Not worth it

Very unhappy with the bed. Overpriced and not much better than others. The colors are not pretty, the mattress is mediocre, the fitted sheet is too thin. It has a smell when first unpacking that lasted for a few days. I do not recommend. Also, if you buy from the official website you have to pay for the return. Very bad customer service

Well made but extremely unpractical

We've got excited about this crib in the shop as it's nicely design, packs well and it's lightweight. However already during the first use we realized our mistake - it has no openings for the kid. That means that the kid cannot go in or out by itself, but more importantly you need to lower him over 1m down to put to sleep. Even for a tall person that's extremely difficult. This is where cribs with second stage and/or opening on the side shine. You slide kid in from the side. This one kills your back and it's still likely the child will wake up in the process. And then you realize you could have bought 2 other beds for the same size. As for folding... it's not that quick, but acceptable.
