Babyhood Lulu Cot (Natural)

Great value for money! We love this cot, looks great and very easy to assemble. Excellent quality wood too.

Love the simple and neutral design which looks lovely in the nursery. I bought one of the recommended mattresses and it’s a perfect fit.The assembly is quite straightforward but the instructions aren’t very well written - like others we found the installation of the drop side confusing, though once you’ve done it once and know how it’s done, it’s actually quite easy. The finish is more of a shiny lacquered look than what I expected from the photos but you definitely wouldn’t have to worry about splinters. Drop side is a bit noisy (makes a loud click when you raise it back up) so I don’t tend to use it during the night but still appreciate having that feature.

We received our babyhood lulu cot in natural start of june, we have recently set it up in the nursery, I didn’t realise the wood slats all around were so much lighter and yellow in colour to the rest of the wood. I’m actually a little disappointed and feel like we can’t send it back now we have it up. I thought the wood would all match all the way around. Little bit gutted! Something to be aware of when buying the lulu cot in natural. :)

Absolutely LOVE our Lulu cot 😍 Easy to assemble, straight forward instructions, It is very sturdy and the 1 handed drop side is fantastic has definitely saved straining my back for sure! Highly recommend!

We love this lulu cot and have used it with our little girl from day dot. First of all we had her in her basinette in the cot next to us and transitioned her so smoothly when she was a bit older. We chose this cot because of the drop side for easier transfers and it was amazing seeing it set up in global baby. The team was so helpful and it was shipped to us so easily. Set up was a lot of fun and really makes you feel good knowing your baby has a great first bed.

Fairly easy to assemble. The drop side is a bit clunky to assemble and to operate! I'm sure we will get use to it! Overall great quality and very sturdy! Be aware that it is very noticeably two toned - slightly different to what images look like but it still looks quite nice! It's grown on us lots!

The cot looks nice but that’s about it. The drop side building instructions were confusing and the actual thing is even more annoying to use. There is no way to use it quietly without waking baby in it. Apparently you only need a leg and an arm but I need to use a leg and both arms and tug and it quite roughly. Sometimes one side won’t unlock and I can’t get it down. Especially annoying with a frustrated baby inside waiting to get picked up.

The cot is nice overall but the drop down side does take a few tries to get used too. Also be aware that it is now raw wood as it appears in the photos and does have a coating. Apart from that we like the cot.

We bought this beautiful cot in amongst the midst of everything that is happening around the world following the announcement of the mandatory lock down in New Zealand. Even despite all of that, we were fortunate that it arrived in less than 2 days and it is perfect. The customer service was nothing short of amazing and we couldn’t high recommend Global Baby and this cot more!

Have the beech one. Great cot. Mechanism sometimes a bit tight (up and down with one hand isn't possible) but overall great value
