Bought these to take on holiday to avoid having to take straighteners and curlers. These have different temperature levels which is a plus and the titanium plates are great for straightening hair. I found it difficult to get my hair to curl as you cannot wind the hair around them as the outer plating is very hot. But using the blades to secure the hair then trying to twirl with the handle was difficult with the rubber ends, however the rubber ends enable you touch the end of the barrel safely without being burnt. I Think I need some practice time to crack it as more operator error than product. Beware tho it is very easy to catch the barrel on your neck and receive a burn. Think I just need a bit more patience I will persevere.

I haven’t used them on myself yet but I’ve used them on my partner who has thick black Afro hair when I was braiding it. This straightened his hair amazingly well! His hair was straight but flexible and left soft and silky not crispy like other straighteners would have so I’m really impressed. There was a slight buzzing when the straighteners were on but that didn’t matter. Also the auto shut off was helpful and was a good length of time before they shut off. I would have liked a better quality pouch for the amount of money but it’s compact and does the job as it doubles as a heat mat. I have had basic GHDs for about 4yrs, couldn't curl with them and was getting a lot of fly away new hair around my parting.These straighteners are next level, smooth and super straight hair how it should look! You can adjust the heat, it has rubber tips to help with curling and is light weight to hold. Was a bit unsure about moving away from GHDs but honestly my fave Christmas purchase and a great price too.

Received these as a Christmas gift and I absolutely LOVE them! I have thick hair and these glide through effortlessly with a shine. Curls come out perfectly too. They come with rubber caps if your want to curl your hair, but you do not have to use them, they are an optional safety thing.They do come with a sticker attached to the rose gold part which was a silly error on BaByliss part, however, after a quick rub of a baby wipe it soon come off and no sticky residue left behind.

The sticker on the outside does leave a slightly sticky residue, and some of this came off with some micellar water on a cotton pad, but I've not had a proper go and getting it all off yet. I thought this would leave some stickiness on my hair, or cause my hair to get stuck while using them, but had no problems at all. I never use heated tools without gloves, but the rubber ends of these are amazing. I did almost pull one of them off during my first use as I was getting used to them, but they are super useful and do stay on. I'm a hairdresser and decided to get these for the fact the outer casing gets hot to do curls with. There are 2 rubber bits on the ends so you can hold the ends but they constantly come off so you loose the curl as you are unable to hold anywhere. Easier to curl with normal straighteners. They do heat up quite quickly but you have to be very careful you don't burn yourself with the outside getting hot. Plates are also longer than normal straighteners so take a bit of getting used to.
I bought these in the sale for my birthday. Not impressed at all. They don’t leave my hair silky when straightening, the rubber ends kept falling off when trying to curl/ wave my hair which is very frustrating.. the sticky label leaves residue which won’t come off.. difficult to hold. I would return them for a refund had I not thrown the box away. I will stick to my ceramic straightener by Remington..Definitely would NOT recommend
I received the straighteners quickly and on time. On my first try I found the plates were snagging at odd strands of hair. My hair is in great condition as I haven't used high temperatures regularly since i was younger. I had my hair freshly washed and cut and tried again and they were still snagging right from the top of my hair. A lot of the great reviews are for thicker hair so maybe these are only not good for fine hair. I never had an issue with my GHDs and never experienced this when using a friends straighteners.
Has a decent cable length, easy to use - has a a soft thumb grip so you know just where to hold the styler when in use. Did a good job in smoothing my shortish curly/frizzy hair. Has 5 heating settings, the only problem is that you assume the first is the coolest, and last is the hottest, but there is not a heat setting number shown so one has to guess at the actual heat being used on their hair. Apart from that,. I am pleased with the styler and will continue to use it.
