Balega hidden contour are even better socks than hidden comfort IMHO. They seem to provide more arch support. You can’t go wrong with this brand. Balega socks NEVER slip off your heel, provide lots of cushion, and last forever. Have gifted them to friends and gotten them hooked as well!

While the prices are similar, that is where the similarities stop to the Thorlos! Construction, fit, feel and padding are clearly better with Balega. Durability will have to wait. So far, my favorite running sock, hands down!I have worn the same pair, washed after each run, for over 150 miles, 4-9 miles each time out…they feel like new every time I put them on.

Think of the environmental impact, shipping US cotton to S Africa, making socks, then shipping them back to the US. Really?

I run, hike, bike and golf. I demand a lot from my socks. My go to brand is Balega. Tough but feel like butter on my feet. These socks aren’t cheap…but Sock Geek has the best price on these socks—believe me, I’ve checked. Fast shipping accompanied by a nice note from the person who packs and ships them to me! I love Balega hidden contour and hidden comfort socks. Nice soft padding and wear great. Just replaced several pair I have worn for years. Fit well in small size fir my size 6 feet. Small is hard to find.

These are good quality comfortable socks for running/walking. Other socks create soreness around toe seams and slip down the heal. Balega stay comfy for hours. I've still got 2 pairs of these from 2-3 years ago.
My family loves and has worn your Balega contour socks for a few years and they are 2nd to none. When I placed an order for Christmas I noticed on the confirmation that I was being shipped the wrong color. I'm not sure how that happened but I tried to find a customer service phone number but there wasn't one so I sent an email explaining my problem but thinking it would be to late to be corrected, however later that day Mike from the customer service department answered my email and informed me that he caught my order and was able to get me the correct color before it went out. Thanks so much to Mike and Sock Geek for always providing the best in service as well as the BEST socks!
I prefer the Contour over the Comfort, because it seems to have a snugger fit. Balega socks are my favorite. I never put them in the dryer, but they wash well. They are very comfortable and stay in place. They do seem to shrink over time, even though they have not been in a dryer. Super exercise socks!
Great socks, very comfortable, plenty of cushioning, and very durable. Excellent fit with no sliding and slipping in my shoes, worth the money. Definitely my go to socks. I’ve used several shoe company’s and other name brand’s socks of the same type and have had good results, but they do not last as long. Between my frequent runs, high mileage, and the washing machine the other brands of socks just don’t last as long, roughly 2/3s of the life of my Balega socks. This is why I use Balega.
