Balnea Sorbolene Unscented Hand Soap 3x100g

Good soap. I generally don't use "bars" of soap, as we have liquid soap at our basins, and I use a shower wash in the shower. As a result it did take some time before I actually sampled this product. But when I did find a need for this product it was great. As advertised it was scent free, and as it is sorbolene, it was a very gentle wash. Personally I think the product is great, but it is not something I would actually use. But for those wanting a scent free gentle bar of soap, I heartily recommend this product and give it 5 stars!

The actual bars of soap are small in a very bijou kind of way making them perfect for guest bathrooms or next to the kitchen sink. The soap design is curved so you won't get that wet smushy bottom which I hate. The soap suds up nicely but lightly and feels very soft and smooth. Rinsing took a little longer than I am used to but that is probably a good thing. After drying, my hands feel both soft and squeaky clean all at the same time. The box is sort of attractive, easy to open and when one bar of soap is removed the other two fall over and fit perfectly. I am not sure if this was a deliberate design feature but it made me smile. The box also has a tab so that you can keep the extra bars of soap cleanly. I have no idea how long the soap lasts but it doesn't feel flimsy so I am expecting it to be long lasting and therefore good value for moneyWho knew I could wax lyrical about soap

Nice Soap. Thank you Bunch for this sample. I normally use a brand name liquid body wash and hand soap as I don't like the mess cakes of soap leave in the shower and sink. This is a nice soap (only used in the shower) however. I don't have any skin issues that I require a soap like this but my Husband has severe skin issues and he said the soap caused him no irritations and wasn't overly drying to his already dry skin. I find it washed well and gave me a nice squeaky clean feeling afterwards. Like me my Husband uses a liquid body wash for his skin type but if this was made in a liquid form I would buy it for him as he needs the non scented sensitive product. The price is great for 3 bars and it is an Aussie product. Cardboard packaging looks great and is recyclable. However, the 2nd ingredient is Sodium palm kernelate and further down the list is palm acid and palm kernel acid. These products appear to be derivatives of palm oil and no where on the packaging is there any mention to ethically sourced ingredients. As it is an Aussie product, does this mean all of the ingredients are sourced in Australia and therefore would be ethical as we don't usually clear forests for palm oil production? The price seems very reasonable for the size of the bar and that so far they appear to be lasting quite a long time. I have been using this product every day over a few weeks now and am very happy with it. It dosen't irritate my skin and my hands feet quite smooth and moisturising. The last year has taken quite a toll on my skin with all the hand-washing and sanitising so I have been pleased to see less irritation and some slight improvement of all the cracks and sores. The big issue with most soaps is how drying they are so the moisturising effect is a nice change and a great help. And some fragrances can have an adverse affect too so being unscented is also a big help for those with allergies and sensitive skin. I would definitely buy these again and recommend them to others with or without skin issues. They have a lovely feel on your skin, don't have cause any irritation and look like being very economical.

Mild, good for people with alergies. I have problems with soap, Aldi's soap and shampoo make my hands break out. I usually use the Woolies, no frills and love it. This soap is really nice and creamy and great if you have dermatitis. Nice product. Thank you for allowing us to try this. I loved the feel after I had stepped out of the shower however I was soon turning to the moisturiser as I felt and could see my skin drying out. Other family members has no issue and is more then happy to use it again. I however have sensitive skin and didn't like the feeling of dehydration haha. But I'll happily buy it to keep for guests. Good price. Easy to find.

It's not dove, but not that bad all the same. Given that this soap contains sorbolene, I was expecting it would leave your skin feeling moisturised like Dove soap, but it doesn't really. It's not quite as drying as regular soap either, so it is probably a mid-way between the two. I don't have sensitive skin, so I can't really say if it is good for that, but I get the feeling that there would be better options available for anyone that has that issue. Cost-wise it is a pretty economic pack, and the soap isn't nearly as harsh as regular no-name brands to it is a pretty good buy overall.

Does the intended job at a great price! This is quite a nice product. Lathers well, gives the user a clean refreshed feeling and is a simple product - no fancy scents or colours. The price is hip-pocket happy and seems like a good choice for those who may become easily irritated by products/have sensitive skin. Bars of soap have somewhat been replaced by shower gels due to bathroom sharing Eg renters sharing with flatmates. It is difficult to leave bars of soap in showers when you don’t know who could be using them and where!!Despite this, as a product this does the intended job and at a great price! Bonus point for being Made in Australia!
