Personally this brand of nappies compared to some mainstream ones for me, was far superior. No nasties on your little ones bottom, better for the environment and very absorbent and minimal leakages. My little one is now 1 and we’ve only ever had under 10 instances where we’ve experienced some leakage. And that was because we needed the next size up and was only working through what we had on hand.Even overnight I can trust my little one is well protected. Is do wish it was an Aussie brand, that would be my only vice.

While we ultimately plan to use cloth nappies, we also wanted to survive the early weeks of new babyhood, and figured using disposable nappies for the first 6-8 weeks would help us achieve this goal! Having read the Hello Charlie review of the eco-disposables, we opted for the Bambo Nature range as the product that best matched our needs and ethics, and they have not disappointed. These nappies feel papery rather than plasticy (in a good way!), so I don't feel bad putting them on my daughter's delicate nether regions. They have great absorbency, and the 'poo fence' feature has halted many of our baby's sizeable poops. So far we have had only two leaks in 6 weeks, and given her amazing capacity for filling her nappy I think that's doing pretty well!I suffer from ... MoreWhile we ultimately plan to use cloth nappies, we also wanted to survive the early weeks of new babyhood, and figured using disposable nappies for the first 6-8 weeks would help us achieve this goal! So far we have had only the mildest hint of nappy-rash, which was easily dealt with by using Weleda Calendula cream, and incorporating 10 minutes of nappy-free time into each day.I have never used any other type of disposable nappy, and don't plan to. I highly rate this product as a great combination of convenience and eco credentials.

I have a 9 week old and these are my go-to disposable nappies for going out and about when cloth nappies are problematic. Great fit (run slightly larger compared to huggies) for my bigger baby. I don't have to worry about harsh plastics and chemicals lining nappies these days. Sit nice and high to prevent leaks. Still no nappy rashes when combined with water wipes. Will continue to re-purchase!

These nappies are easy to use and hold a lot of volume. The handy wetness indicator also makes them comparable in terms of performance to conventional disposables. They are a bit pricey though, at about three times the cost per nappy - but they perform well, and baby seems to be comfortable in them (no nappy rash this far!!). Would love to have more clear information about which components of the nappy are compostable vs biodegradable vs neither - that'd help consumers manage their waste better
After using Huggies for 120 days in the NICU we came home using them but soon noticed we were daily needing nappy rash cream every day. I wanted to find something that not only had less chemicals but less impact on the environment.Instantly since using these nappies our baby has less to no nappy rash. The nappies are a larger fitting than other brands but sit nice and high which I like. The main thing to get used to is that the nappies don't contain the chemicals to take the smell away so at first I found I would go to change a nappy way before it was full due to smelling pee. These nappies are fantastic. We use these with ecoriginals wipes and wotnot bags (for the smelly nappies) to get a biodegradable hat trick.
Purchased these nappies for my newborn and found them a better fit than the ones hospital provided. They never leaked, only the odd dirty one which was down to position of baby at the time. We recently ran out of these nappies and were awaiting new order when I purchased a new raved about brand in the shop to keep us going while we waited for our order of Bambo and the baby was constantly woken from the nappies leaking every few hours. I would definitely recommend this brand over any other and the customer service from The Organic Cotton Shop is also excellent!
I have since tried almost every chemical free/eco friendly nappy on the market. These are downright outstanding! They are super absorbent, breathable & excellent quality.I won’t be using any other brand again!Shipping was fast and customer service excellent! Thank you Hellocharlie for stocking this brand!
I love Bambo diapers and have been using them for my 11 month son since he was born with no problem. However, the new variety (with wetness indicator) break open when used overnight and all the filling comes out. This is quite dangerous as my son always ends up getting it on his hands when I try to clean him up and it is hard to remove because it sticks. I never had this issue with the older one. This has happened 5 times already. I’m really disappointed with the change. The old variety seems to have been discontinued; I can’t find it anywhere.
These nappies are fantastic! The only time we get any leakage is due to incorrect application as opposed to the nappy itself and that's only occurred twice in 6 weeks. Never had a 'poo-splosion' because they're quite high at the back. They also breathe well and remove moisture from the skin, so heavy overnight nappies still leave bubs dry and rash free. I know that in landfill these nappies still take hundreds of years to breakdown but I prefer to know that a) they can be broken down, b) they're made in a more sustainable way and c) they're made of natural materials. Wouldn't buy any other nappy!
