As i have to limit my caffine I use this as my every day coffie. I cant have a lot of barley either. I think this has got a mild taste. I have less than a teaspoon full as i prefer it not as strong. I like that its not a bitter drink. I also like that i can get it delivered also on repeate order. Thats very handy as they stopped selling it in store near me.

I've had to give up caffeine several years ago and I find this the best tasting coffee substitute I've tried. One other benefit, it does not contain sugar or sweeteners. I've had homemade dandelion coffee which is ok, but the only commercial one I tried was sweetened.

Having put a very negative review on the site for the Whole Earth Organic Coffee substitute, I thought I would balance that with a very positive review for Bambu. It even smells a bit like coffee, has a nice full flavour if you make it a bit stronger than recommended. I always liked my coffee very strong and while this does not taste exactly the same, it is pleasant to drink and there are enough similarities to make me not worry about giving up coffee. I mix it with the crystallised coconut nectar and it makes a very nice drink.
Iām definitely a new fan of this coffee alternative! Such a smooth and pleasant flavour, nutty and a tiny bit of fruit, with the warming morning familiarity of coffee! Love it really recommend you give it a try! I especially like it mixed with the small figures oat milk which I tried for the first time the other day! Super creamy and delicious combination!

After reading many reviews on coffee substitutes I came across this substitute on this site and read all of your reviews. I decided to give it a go. I missed something I could have with milk in and even though I am used to great coffee with cream, I don't drink instant, this was a substitute that worked. I followed the instructions of someone else here and added 1 heaped teaspoon and a half to a mug, added sugar, hot water and milk. And while yes it's more like an instant coffee it does the job with my need for comfort first thing. I was going to try the other brands, but think I may stick with this.
There are many coffee substitutes on the market but none of them quite hit the mark in the way Bambu does. It is an excellent product made from natural, caffeine free ingredients. It is a similar price to a quality coffee but with the buy one get one half price at Holland & Barrett that made it very good value. The website is very user friendly and delivery efficient and also free if you purchase over Ā£20 of goods, so I stocked up - overall an extremely satisfactory purchase!
An excellent alternative to coffee. I drink mine with a teaspoon of coconut milk and it brings more 'fullness' of flavour. Will buy again, but from a different provider where I can get it cheaper.
I can't drink ordinary coffee so I have been drinking this for many years now and find it the best around. I started when taking Homeopathic remedies as you can't drink coffee. I always dink it black and only 1/2 teasp per cup/mug.
