Bandai Entry Grade 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam

got this for 7 bucks throughtarget. loved it.

This is my first Gunpla kit and I definitely recommend it. For such a low price you get an entertaining time out of it. It's definitely a simple kit, not too complicated but a great start for anyone who wants to get into the hobby. Although it claims you don't need tools, it does make it a little easier to have a pair of nippers on hand, as some parts could break when trying to remove them if you're not careful. Still not necessary but helpful nonetheless. Great kit and anyone could make it.

First would like to site that the review section is for, WAIT FOR IT, actual product reviews.This model is surprisingly good and doesn’t need a sticker for the star on its crotch area, it’s a piece. There are no poly caps which makes it easy to build. The eyes don’t have a sticker either, there’s space below them once finished that uses shadow to make the black area below the yellow visible. What’s pictured on the box and here on this listing is actually what the model looks like, the picture isn’t a perfectly painted and beautified finished and customized figure. Adding a few panel lines don’t hurt they’re not really needed so much on here except the vents on his head and his knee vents that should be black. You can paint in the sight on his rifle as well. Other than those few things the figure poses extremely well, actually better than the HG most recently released RX-78. As for overall appearance it’s thinner than the earlier HG version and is not as bulky and angry looking.I do highly recommend this figure but as the “reviews” state this model is $8 at target. It’s absurd to see this priced over $40 let alone $15 at all unless it’s for multiple kits.
