Table looked ok out of the box but on assembly was found to be missing a connecting rod for joining the top to the base. referred to MyDeal for refund or replacement. Yet to be resolved.Watch this space!

I am a carer and I was not able to place this table together. It was the most difficult thing to deal with and I gave it away. It was rubbish. Never again will I buy dismantled furniture when I can pay for one to be already built at the same price.

The pictorial instructions are ok if that is the way your brain works but you can find video instructions from users of similar products online. There was also the revelation that the adjustable height was only by virtue of adding another cylinder to the existing leg. Choice of two heoghts would be more accurate. My particular table suffered from having some manufacturing debris in the press-button table swivel mechanism, so I had to partly dissemble it to free it. And there was a slight dent in the aluminium table-top. Apart from that it was fine, especially for the price.

Good for the price but a little wobbly

Table looks great and is easy to assemble. I assembled it as a bar table using the extra pieces to make it higher. My only issue is that it is a little wobbly and this is due to the way it's made. The supporting piece that screws between the base and top is a fairly thin rod that naturally flexes. This rod is disguised by the outer tube when you assemble it. I'm thinking of getting some chunky galvalnised pipe that will slip over the rod to reduce the flexing. Apart from that it looks great and price is very good for what you get. I would still recommend this to friends for domestic use but probably not strong enough in a commercial setting.

Good value bar table

Pretty easy to put together. Super quick delivery. Looks good.More expensive ones might be more robust, but then they would be heavier and harder to move around. Good value and exactly what I needed.

Height

Advertised as adjustable height, but in fact can only be set at two alternative heights, bar height or cafe table height.

Lightweight, and does the job

The bar table is quite useable and appropriate. It looks like the ones seen in commercial premises, but it is very much a lightweight copy, and it does the job just fine if treated with respect. Being lightweight means it is easy to move or carry around. To change the height of the table, the centre leg is made up of two pieces, so 3 different table heights are possible. To alter the height means undoing nuts and bolts, so it is not done on a whim. It does the job and you get what you pay for.

Table not meeting ad promises

Did not live up to expectation - the table cannot - I repeat, cannot - be set up to adjust to 2 different heights! Also, the table is not very stable. Have asked Myer to take back the table - am still waiting for a response from Myer. Will probably never buy again from Myer online.
