My daughter fell in love with this Barbie and Newborn Pups playset! She wants to be a veterinarian when she is older and quickly set up her own veterinary clinic for the mama dog to give birth to her litter in. I loved that Barbie was able to kneel down to assist the mama dog with delivery and that the set comes with everything that Barbie and her friends will need to care for the new little puppies. The paw shaped bath tub and sponge are perfect for puppy bath time and it is fun to see their markings (blue star, pink star, and pink heart) appear and disappear when the water temperature is changed. We had to add an ice cube to the water to get it cold enough for their marks to fully reappear again after putting them in warm water. This was the perfect toy for our little girl. Each accessory is perfect for helping Barbie take care of the 3 newborn pups. She really exploded with excitement when the dog gave birth to the pups! she spent time cleaning each one, then feeding, and even making sure they were nice and warm with their mom.Its super sweet to watch her mother each pup. its absolutely adorable to see her help the puppies get milk from their mom. Shes going to be a great dog mom one day!This Barbie is highly recommended for those dog lover kids out there. It will definitely spark their imagination on how to raise puppies.

This Barbie playset is a really cute and interesting idea! I got this for my two boys, ages 4 and 7, and they loved it right away. They'd never had a Barbie toy before, but were immediately interested, especially in the mama dog and her pups. They loved putting the puppies in mama's belly and "birthing" them. They had the Barbie doll carry the pups around in the carrier (like they see me do with their baby brother) and they loved having her take care of them. They were even more thrilled when I shared the info that washing them in icy water would cause a shape to appear on the puppies' rumps - any excuse for water play is more than OK with them! Adorable Barbie set with many different accessories. The Barbie is great to have the moveable joints to have her sit in different positions. The only downside is the one arm stays bent at all times. It would be nice to have that arm straight or to have the joint movement like the legs.The puppies are adorable. My daughter has been having fun putting the puppies in the tummy and pushing them out. It comes with a bunch of accessories for the puppy and the color change feature is a plus.The only downside is there are a lot of little pieces so have to be careful not to loose them.
This is a fun toy, it has a lot of bits to make it fun and interactive.I would recommend for 4/5+ due to a lot of small items.All parts are well made and of good quality.The dog and pups were a firm favourite and putting them in and then pushing the dog to get them out was very entertaining for a child. This was easy to do themselves.The barbie can then be played with separately or with the dog and carry vest for the puppys.You can then play brushing and feeding them.Allows a lot of imaginary play and lots of different ways to do this involving all parts or just parts.Very easy to play with, hard wearing would just recommend watching if being played with by younger children due to the size of some items.

This is a present for my granddaughter for the 1st of July, so hasn’t been opened or played with yet. I’m pretty confident that she will absolutely love it! It’s sweet that you find out whether the puppies are boys or girls by adding warm water to their back to reveal a coloured heart. I’m not quite sure what the little hooks on the little bones are for-possibly attach to Barbie’s finger? I can’t see anywhere on the dogs to attach them to. Barbie’s jointed knees are strange-I’ve still got Barbie dolls that my daughter used to play with-their jointed knees are so much better-I’m guessing there’s some kind of wiring inside the bendy leg.

I am truly impressed with the quality, durability and functionality of this Barbie and newborn pups play set. My little one has spent hours upon hours playing this. I am so grateful that this toy set has really let her imagination go will. My little one has spent hours upon hours playing with this set and she constantly is coming up with new stories for them each time she goes back to playing. This pup play set is excellent quality and very durable; I do not need to work about the pieces breaking easily. I would absolutely recommend this set to anyone with a little one that loves to play with Barbies and puppies as you will not be disappointed by this set.
Satisfied. The dogs are larger than in the picture witch I'm happy about. I was worried it would be made cheaply but I'm satisfied with the quality. My granddaughter is 4 yrs old and loves it. I even purchased both the "dark girl with the white dog" and the "white girl with the brown dog". Received them days ago and she has not put them down. A lot of small pieces comes with it though and finding them can be tricky when she plays with them all over the house. The Barbie's are anchored to the box on the head. The plastic that anchors her to the box is actually in her head so when you cut her plastic string two picky plastic pieces is felt on the back of her head. Not a brilliant idea on the packaging part. Otherwise, I have nothing bad to say.
