This was a gift and my little one was incredibly eager to get playing. The multitude of accessories allowed lots of play time as she was happy to play out lots and lots of adventures. The ability to put the accessories into the rucksack prevented you losing everything after a single play and she was routinely sought out to go on her next camping adventure. Recommended as a great vehicle for independent, imaginative play.

This barbie is a very well sculpted and painted doll. The accessories are cute and go well with the theme. However we didn't like the material of the sleeping bag it felt a little cheap. The only downfall of this product was the packaging, the plastic holders for the doll go through the head and make it difficult to remove without damaging barbies beautiful braided hair.

The Barbie It Takes Two Malibu Camping Doll with Puppy comes with lots of accessories for camping and hiking. I loved that my daughter was pretending that Barbie could climb a mountain and really took to setting a camping scene. The backpack was especially nice because it was made of fabric instead of plastic. The only thing we wish was different was the sleeping bag, which reminds us of the Barbie mermaid. The sleeping bag could have looked more like a sleeping bag rather than a sack, but that is such a minor thing. The set overall is great and held my daughter's interest for quite some time.

I would have given Barbie Brooklyn camping doll a great review. Until the unboxing. Brooklyn was gator taged by the head in about three places, which they are hard to remove without damaging the hair on the back of the doll's head. Removing the gator tags has damaged the back of Brooklyn's head, leaving some hair accidentally cut off trying to do so. Mattel, just why? Why continue this practice? Unnecessary to say the least! Other than that and the usual non needed waste of plastic pets, this doll is adorable. The camping accessories are cute. Also, why are barbie friends cursed with a weight problem? Why the ginormous thighs? Minor gripes, but I always wanted to collect this doll since this line of dolls came out. My child has enjoyed playing with the camping barbie doll, she particularly enjoyed using the sleeping bag and liked the smaller accessories such as the sunglasses. It is nice to have a doll that is suited to an outdoor activity and I like that the accessories are a good fit/ quality and don't keep falling off. She had a bit of difficulty opening the bag but other than that was able to play independently and imaginatively with it.
My daughter was so so happy to receive this Brooklyn barbie doll set. She has a great dungaree outfit on and boots . Perfect for camping . Comes with lots of fantastic accessories including a sleeping bag which is just great adds to the play . Daughter has spent many hours playing with her new Brooklyn barbie doll .
This Barbie is really neat. She comes with many accessories for camping, and she has a little puppy, which my daughter thinks is the cutest thing ever. The sleeping bag fits Barbie perfectly, and it has a cool design that my daughter likes. My daughter has gathered all of her other Barbies, and has had lots of fun camping out in her room. Now, my daughter can’t wait until we can all go on a real camping trip.
Great Barbie Doll! My 7 year old loves this doll. The sleeping bag and accessories are very cute. The dolls camping backpack holds almost all of the accessories. The sleeping bag is cute. My daughter's only complaint was that she would have liked a different material for the sleeping bag.
This set is terrific. There are so many accessories and my daughter was so into exploring them all. Putting them into the backpack, taking them out, putting them on the doll, etc. We love the camping theme and the fact that a dog is included checked a lot of boxes for us. The doll we got has lots of braids which my daughter found delightful.My main takeaway is that there is a lot of play time here because there are so many things to do: my kid had a blast putting the doll to bed in her sleeping bag, putting the sleeping bag away on the backpack, putting the dog away, dressing the doll, taking "pictures", hiking, etc. I will definitely be buying more of these sets! Totally recommend it.
She is an original Barbie doll. No knock off! Wanted a black Barbie doll, and ordered another one in the same style, but a caucasian one.......for my little grand niece for her birthday coming up at the end of April. This was packaged neatly with the other Barbie and a pair of jogger pants I ordered. This way she can play with both Barbies with their camping stuff. Not just 1 Barbie. I also bought the little pink case for her dolls and some clothing...I'm sure she'll be very happy. wish you would carry a Latino Barbie. I would've gotten her, also! Shipment came as expected. She'll love playing with this Barbie's beautiful long hair, too! Cute set...with the little dog, too! Everything in this set is exactly as pictured. Very nice!!
