My 4.5 yo daughter has loved playing with her new Malibu Barbie house! It was easy enough to set up, and its large size makes it easy for my 6.5 yo son (and even me) to join in on the play without being squished next to his sister, too. It has all the basic rooms (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room), while keeping things simple to encourage kids to use their imagination to interact with the house. The house seems sturdy and well-built, and the colorful stickers really add to the fun (e.g. cookies, accessories next to bed). I love that the included kitchen and coffee table have spots for accessories to insert into, so that they won't easily be bumped off and need to be set up again. This is a great “Santa” gift especially while Black Friday priced. The box is HUGE. Way larger than expected. This was going to be a parent present but from the sheer size ,” Santa “may claim it This item has been scoped out for some time but the price always kept me away. If your kids would love a doll house, one that can be broken down and stored - this is it. Disclaimer any items delivered through Walmart aren’t in boxes. The condition this package arrived in is horrible. 1st off. I am not sure why the seller thought it was okay to ship it in its original package. It was left on my front porch. where everyone could see it and thankfully a child from the neighborhood knocked on my door to tell me it was there. Unfortunately, my daughter saw that it was something Barbie related since it was not covered. 2nd, this box came in such a rough condition. It looks as if someone opened it and then returned it. The box has a ton of tape to hold it shut and different punctures in it. I caught a great deal on it, but it didn't say it was going to be a used product or anything, so hopefully when she opens it on Christmas, everything will be there and in new condition. LOVE this house! I was really skeptical to buy a new Barbie house (die hard Barbie fan from the 80s here). I remember mine growing up and they were such great quality but some recent things we've bought have been flimsy and not the same quality I'm used to. I am so pleasantly surprised by this house. The girls played with it for hours and hours, making up various stories, even including the dream house itself (from the tv show). Standard Barbie dolls can only just stand up in it and they do fit the furniture. Other princesses were invited to stay and worked well. Smaller dolls had a fun time, but didn't fit the furniture. My favorite part was the accessories: there's a blow dryer, blender, cups, and plates, among others. Each piece has a handle on it so you can clip it to the doll's hand. Also, the plates, blender, and cups feature a circle on the bottom that allows them to stick into designated areas in the house such as the table or the stove. This way, the pieces don't fall all over the place during play or storage. This is a great product! The fact that it folds up for storage makes me happy and the girls have already spent hours of creative play with the house.

I was so excited to live my childhood dream and but My daughter a Barbie house. Boy was I disappointed. I paid $79 last year and thought I was getting a killer deal. Didn’t open the box until months later when she was older. And it was super poorly made. Cardboard walls. Very junky and doesn’t get played with ever. By the time we opened it , it was to late to return. Save your money. This was a huge disappointment

It doesn't fall over or apart when played with and when play is over it just closes up, the furniture and accessories, (which there was a lot of and more than enough that you don't need to purchase any extra's), can stay inside it, which is a bonus. Before I purchased the house, there was alot of different measurements for it so I was unsure which to believe, I've just taken the measurements myself, so if anyone needs to know they are as follow - Closed 57cm(W) x 48(D) x 80(H), Open 105cm(W) x 25(D) x 80(H) I hope this helps anyone who can't decide whether to purchase this, I would say, do, any Barbie fan will have so much fun X
i haven't opened it, but my one star is due to the delivery. this was ordered as a christmas present and delivered in the original packaging. it was raining when the delivery took place and i wasnt home. the walmart delivery driver left it sitting in the rain despite the fact that i have a covered porch, and the box had a huge puddle sitting directly on top of it. the entire box is soaked and falling apart, and i cannot have my child unwrap it in this condition. i hope the dollhouse itself isnt damaged, water has clearly gotten inside of it.
first off, this is HUGE. definitely read the product dimensions to ensure you have enough space for it. the house folded is roughly the same height and half the length of it opened.that being said, this is made of very cheap and fragile plastic, and to top it all off the assembly was horrible. theres cheap plastic rods you have to drive through the hinges to made it functional, but those rods bend easily and theres much margin for errors if you dont align it perfectly.i paid $82 for this, and hardly consider it worth for that price, let alone the $130 they expect at full price.
