I switched to this foundation after Kat Von D went downhill. This could be a great foundation, but there are some issues. First, it has great coverage, goes on smoothly, and blends flawlessly. It did not collect in my pores or creases and did not dry out my skin or cause an acne breakout. However, it does not wear very long and needs reapplying by the late afternoon - my skin is very oily and a lot of this foundation comes up when I blot. Secondly, you should not press down too hard or carry this foundation around in your purse, as other reviewers have noted it can break up and cause a mess - I did not have that issue because I was gentle and left it at home. A little bit on a small brush completely covers blemishes. After using warmth, and maybe a bit of blush, I like to finish with pressed mineral veil in medium. I am amazed at how easy it is to achieve a natural poreless look that lasts all day. I keep an extra compact of the pressed mineral veil in my car for quick touch ups after wearing a mask.

I wear powder foundation and have always been confused when people say they stay clear of powder foundations because they don't want want to look cakey. Powder typically performs beautifully on my skin and I actually feel like liquid foundation makes me look cakey. But lord, I completely understood peoples concerns with this Bare Pro!
