I have been a bareminerals loyal customer for at least 15 years. I have used the PrimeTime BB primer in light for soooo many years. This has been my go to product for both primer, tint, and sunscreen all in one. My daughter also used the product and has very sensitive skin. We are both tremendously disappointed in the new formula. It is very thick, sticky, and does not match our skin tone at all. It does not glide in the skin like the original BB primer. Please bring back the other product as many others have also stated. This new one is awful and does not even compare. I am having to switch companies for the first time. Have not yet been able to find a comparable replacement that has all 3 features as the BB Primer did. Sincerely, Losing a VERY LOYAL customer.

This primer is everything! I have dry patches and an oily t-zone, and it makes my entire face look perfectly smooth without looking greasy. It is definitely hydrating, and I can see a bit of improvement in my skin even after removing my makeup for the day. Different types of foundation glide on beautifully, with no pilling, and the glow shines through even fuller coverage foundations. I love the light scent; it reminds me of creamsicles. My makeup holds up beautifully over this primer, without creasing in my fine lines or texture shining through. This primer checks all of the boxes for me, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to even my best friend.

This is such a great product. I like to use it alone and as a primer. It has a creamy lightweight texture that absorbs quickly without leaving a weird residue. My makeup no longer settles into my fine lines or pores, and it doesn't get cakey or peel. My makeup looks so much better after using this primer and looks very fresh hours after applying. I also like to use it as a spf as it leaves my skin looking healthy, very protected, and glowing. This is a great multi-use product with so many amazing benefits, and I can't help but recommend it to everyone I know. I love all the compliments I get when I have this on and will definitely purchase it when I run out!

I combined this primer with the pressed powder sampler, warmth, and mineral veil. Every time I caught a look of myself in the mirror, I couldn't believe how much I loved the outcome. I didn't want to take my makeup off that day.After that, I was not able to repeat the same breath-taking, airbrushed look. However, I had no issues with the product and its blendability. I live in the desert where we are constantly pounded with sunshine so I was most excited about the SPF protection this product contained. I don't always see a benefit from using a primer, but this one is an exception. I found it filled my pores near my nose and smoothed out my skin (not 100% like a filter, but definitely an improvement), I also found this primer grips onto my makeup, and my makeup lasts as applied all day (7am-10pm). This is how I use it to make it work. It is slightly more dry formula and I have dry/combo skin, so I always start with my serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Yes, the primer has a sunscreen which is a nice extra layer of protection but imo its not enough, I still need my spf50. Then I take a small amount of this primer (~pea size) and rub it between my fingers to smooth it out, and then I press it into my face, focused on the areas I have more pores (T-zone). Bare minerals has changed a lot and not for the better. They replaced their primers, which were excellent with these new ones. This particular one i bought because i used to purchase the SPF tinted version of their previous formulation. This new version is like goop. Its sticky, thick and leaves a white cast. This product in no way acts like a primer and the loose foundation goes on really gross on top of it. It feels like a really thick sports sunblock. I threw the box away and couldnt return it unfortunately. So I've just been using it as sunblock when I'm at the pool or something. DO NOT RECOMMEND....
Having used the Prime Time BB Primer in light and medium (depending on the time of year) for years, I was advised it was discontinued and this is the new and improved version.New? Yes. Improved? Not a chance!This is awful compared with the original formula.The original went on so easily, dried instantly and it never even felt like you were wearing anything, this just leaves your face feeling sticky and certainly doesn’t give any glow.There was nothing wrong with the original Primer, why not give your loyal customers the choice to stick with the original or try a new one?Very disappointed that a great product has been replaced with something I won’t be using again.I don’t recommend this product.
