Barilla Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce 400g

This premade sauce is easy to cook. I like spaghetti alot so I always cook this mix with ground beef, onion, and mushrooms! Taste delicious and affordable price!

I personally like the flavor of this pasta sauce. Sometimes I find that traditional sauces are a little bit too sweet for my liking. I also don't want it to be overwhelmingly salty or Bland either. This seems to hit a good balance with me. We like to mix it with ground beef and other vegetables for spaghetti. Warm up some garlic bread and you've got yourself a meal!

I am wholely impressed by the taste and quality of this Barilla Pasta Sauce. I am only reviewing the Traditional flavor and the Tomato and Basil flavors as those are the only flavors I've tried so far. The sauce makes a great base in which you can add additional ingredients to create a superb spaghetti sauce for many various Italian dishes. I did not find the sauce to be overly sweet like some have said, but it may just be preference. The ingredients in the ingredient list are all natural ingredients and don’t contain anything you can’t pronounce. We use pasta sauce for a lot of different dishes at our house. Not surprisingly, I've tried many of the brands that are available at the supermarket. Over the years I've been generally impressed with the different varieties of Barilla, including the all-natural tomato and basil. This sauce is thick and tasty and definitely character to a pasta dish. I've used it in lasagna and as the sauce for spaghetti and meatballs on several occasions and have been well-pleased with the result. Barilla is generally a little bit more expensive than some of the low-end pasta sauces, but it is more affordable than the high-end brands and tastes just as good.

I really like this product because it is such and what I was looking for. I tried many that I did not like but this is the one that I was surprised. It is perfect and zero harmful. The truth had not found such a product. super recommended and has a good aesthetic. I love it. I would definitely try it again. And finally I'm going to stop looking for it in other stores. I keep this one!

It tasted fresh the hints of basil popped in every bite without over powering the dish. I not only tried it as a sauce on a cauliflower crusted pizza but as the sauce for lasagna! I went out and personally purchase 2 other jars to have enough but I used it in a regular gluten free pasta lasagna, a zucchini lasagna a sweet potato lasagna. Barilla Napoletana Roasted Garlic Sauce is a tasty red sauce!

Recently, Barilla launched several "thicker, richer taste" jarred pasta sauces. Although the Montanara Mushroom & Garlic was not my favorite due to the lack of sufficient mushrooms in the first jar I tried, I will be trying a second jar in the near future, courtesy of the nice folks at Barilla customer service. However, in the meantime I popped open a jar of their Napoletana Roasted Garlic Sauce, and am much more impressed!This is a thick, rich red sauce with a pronounced garlic flavor when heated up. It is definitely thicker than the previous version of Barilla Roasted Garlic sauce. The ingredients are all natural and include diced tomato, tomato puree, onions, roasted garlic, sugar, olive oil, sunflower oil, salt, garlic, oregano, citric acid, parsley and black pepper - very close to how I might make sauce from scratch (except I wouldn't use the sunflower oil, and I would substitute a bit of red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar for the citric acid).Bottom line, if you like garlic this is a nice base sauce for pastas or even using on homemade pizza.

Best of the jarred sauces

I usually make my own sauce but sometimes on busy days I will cheat on the kids dinner! This has less sugar than other jarred sauces but has a nice rich tomatoey flavour and is a good alternative. I wouldn't pay full price for it though, stock up when on offer!

Just enough chilli

Purchased a jar in the sale, glad I did, as once I used it, then stocked up. I used it to make chicken arrabbiata and it was superb. The chill is just the right amount for an Italian dish. Have also used it to make chilli meatballs. The consistency is also good, certainly not runny quite thick. Saves so much time and quite honestly I couldn?t tell that it was a jar sauce. It?s great.

We usually make our own pasta sauce, tired this to keep in the cupboard for a quick meal for the kids, in the view that I would add things to it for them. Turns out It was delicious, no synthetic taste and full of flavour! I didnt need to add anything to it just the standard sprinkle of Parmesan. Will keep one of these in my cupboards from now on!
