Barmah 1057 KH Khaki Canvas Drover Airflow Hat

This style of hat are the best ones I have ever worn. With the elastic type inner band, it is comfortable to wear and stays secure on one's head. With the airflow design and the material used, it is cool and light to wear. They are a very durable hat. I was also impressed with your service, delivery and communication. I received this item in good time.

Best hot weather hat ever!!!

(This was a gift for my wife, who asked me to write the review.)The hat fits her head and appearance as if were made just for her. It is stylish enough, immaculately made, and the materials seem first rate. It is comfortable outdoors in our summer heat, and has inspired some daytime walks that might have been skipped if not for "The Hat".Thanks.

Good looking hat.

This is my second Barmah hat. The first one being a crushable leather version which I wore out on the lake for years and has seen better days. This hat is a little more stylish and will be my every day hat when Im out in the sun. Very comfortable and does a good job of keeping the sun off my face.

Hat Was Crushed

The service and correspondence was great. However, the box the hat came in was too weak for international shipping, and was crushed to half the size when I received it. I had fixed to fix the hat, while I sent a response to them to use thicker cardboard boxes. This made the purchase very disappointing.

No interior band

I have purchased about ten hats like this one and this is the first one that came with no interior band. As a result, it does not fit, it's too large! I don't know if this is an error but I will not purchase more until I get a response to my inquiry. Buyer beware!

This hat has gone to my head!

I stumbled onto this hat after failing repeatedly to find a replacement for my mislaid "Rough Rider" style hat, purchased from 'Ultimate' decades ago and only lost recently. I was cheered mightily by its arrival last week. It made it to the USA in perfect condition, and is easily the equal of its beloved predecessor.The large brim and the UV resistant materials give me great shade and are substantial w-o being heavy to wear. The design and workmanship appear excellent. The price was very reasonable given the overall quality, and the shipping fees were negligible for what was involved getting it over here in nice condition.It has been put to the test recently, with high sun and daily readings ca. 35C. to 38C. Top hat

My husband had a lesion removed from his face recently, and needed a hat with a wider brim. The Barmah fitted well, and has been worn every day since it arrived. It looks smart, proved to be waterproof in a sudden downpour, and is ventilated for hot days. DH is delighted with it.

Very happy. This is my third Canvas Drover. Looking forward to many hours of comfort and protection. Along with great looks.

Very nice and well constructed Aussie style outdoor hat

I have recently received the blue and brown All Over Drover hats from HBT100. I really like these hats as they are strongly stitched, very durable waterproof cotton fabric, that is quite stiff in comparison with a Tilley hat, which I quite like as I find the soft cotton hats too floppy. These come fairly stiff but I think they will soften up over time as I am already noticing that is happening as I wear the hats. I also like how these stay on your head and have less tendency to fly off in a wind than Tilley hats or other thicker material hats. And the style is just perfect because I do not like the American cowboy hat look and the classic drover shape is just nicer looking overall. I am only giving 4 stars out of 5 as I find the construction of the hats a little inconsistent as the brown one I received is a little off in the construction. The crown was stitched in a little off centre, and the seam in the brim is not aligned with the rear centre line of the hat which would be normal. Its not enough to return the hat or be noticeable when wearing it, however, it is a defect and should have been caught in the inspection process as it makes the hat a little less comfortable than the blue one, which is straight and centred in construction.Overall, especially for the price, I highly recommend these hats. I have 5 Tilley hats and a few other Aussie hats to compare these to and I am now wearing these 2 Barmah's all the time.BTW, the hat showed up in a box crushed flat to about 1 inch thick. So these are definitely crushable and they pop back to perfect shape instantly. :)BM
