Bought this a little over 3 weeks ago. As soon as you open the packaging the smell hits you like a tonne of bricks. It stinks. It says to air it out before use. It's been airing out for 2 weeks. It still stinks. And it's made in China, it's not an Australian product like some other reviewer has suggested. That is a lie.I cannot comment on what it's like as a quilt as I cannot use it due to the smell. I'll leave it airing out for a few more weeks to see what happens.

I was looking for a quilt that was thick but also regulated my temperature during spring and Autumn. I was over heating in my down and polyester quilt, so thought about trying a wool quilt. This is perfect, I have ended up buying one for the spare room as well. I think this will also replace my down quilt for winter. The only thing people may not like is the strong smell of lanolin, but after a week the smell has gone.

Unsure about other reviews saying it had a smell. I got mine straight on the plastic and no smell at all. Didn't bother airing it just put a cover on and straight on the bed. No issues there.We've just hit colder weather and it's definitely warmer than my synthetic cheaper quilt. Some say it's loud this far almost all wool quilts I've ever had sound similar. It's NOT Australian made you will NOT get a WASHABLE WOOL quilt that's Australian made due to the non environmentally friendly chemical process the wool goes through to make it washable. I have had one issue though. I spilled a small amount of coffee in it. Wipes it off with a wet towel and some oxy spray. The product and packaging was not right. When I opened the packaging it was very smelly too. Went to Carnegie store and Wanted to return or exchanged it with other product but I was told it is a non refundable or non exchangeable item. Not happy about the experience.
After a few months . The corners are all empty and the wool all rolled together like a ball. Try to fix but not working . Because the corners edges has no stitches to keep the wool in place . Good quality but poor design
Glad that I got this quilt. Great price when on sale and soooo warm and comfy! No complaints. It's handy that it's washable. Perfect for winter nights in sydney. Only downside is that it makes it hard to get out of bed every morning.
Used this for a few weeks and realised wool strands passing through quilt cover to all over my bed, clothes and in my throat. When I removed the quilt cover, it was full of wool stands and particles. Not sure if it is supposed to be like this or if it’s faulty. I have used a wool quilt from a different brand for years but never faced this issue.
This quilt is very noisy to sleep with. The wool is very patchy and the quilt is poofie. It is quite warm for winter though. I would not purchase this brand again unfortunately
t's like sleeping encompassed in a warm comforting cloud. Best buy this winter, keeps me snug and warm without the weight of blankets. Great value.
