Able to bathe again!

Aside from having difficulty getting into the tub and out - which has nothing to do with this little jewel, it works fine. My husband is 81 and can not see well so he can't tell where he's putting his number 12's. Once he gets his feet situated in the tub, he's fine - the same for getting out. This unit rises and lowers him for a comfortable soaking bath and we are very pleased with it. It has solved a big problem for us. I'm so glad you had it at a reasonable price.

This is a replacement for the same product I bought elsewhere 4 years ago.It does what it is supposed to do, but the fold down wings, and the entire unit could be made of a more sturdy plastic, and wider. It claims to have a maximum weight limit of 350 pounds. I use it for disabled adult daughter who is 250, in a tub designed with a higher edge, and wider access than the standard tubs. The "wings" do not reach from side to side at the top of the tub, and the hinges have broken several times over the years. The battery will last about a year, with daily use, so be prepared to replace it.There are other lifts available, the best one made in Germany, but costs about 3 times more.Had to replace it due to motor failure, but I still bought the same unit.

Great Bath Chair
24 January 2017

I am so pleased with this chair that lowers and raises you back up in the bathtub. I am in a wheelchair so I was finding it hard to try and take a shower because I can't stand more that a few seconds so this chair was an answer to my prayers. Thank you Amica Medical

Great chair

This lift chair works just like they advertised. You have plenty of room in your tub and it was very comfortable. I am 250 lbs and it lowered and raised me without any problems. I would recommend this for everyone. It is very safe.

Love it!
29 April 2018

Our daughter’s disabled and suffered a bad fall. We considered a walk in tub but it wouldn’t fit in her 2nd floor bath. It takes 2 of us to get her safely into the tub with this, but that’s only because she’s unable to help us in any way. If we could count on her not to lean forward while we position her legs, it would only require only one of us. We considered the turn table seat accessory, but that would mean going with out the bottom seat cover (making the seat too slippery to be safe). We bought the head rest accessory, but it wasn’t necessary as the seatback is plenty high. I signed on today to purchase a carrying case for it as we’ll be taking it with us when we travel.

Not happy.
19 August 2019

I ordered this charger, simple charger, and it cost $85.95!! Wow!! It was supposed to take 5-6 business days and I finally contacted the company 1 week after it was supposed to be delivered and got some generic response as to why I had not received the charger and was told they had to get the charger from someplace else and would have it FedExed on the 2-day shipping and they were kind enough not to charge me for that. Well I still didn't get it for 4 days!! In the meantime I'm having to stand in the showere to bathe my mother because we had no way of using the bath lift for her to take a bath for 3 weeks. Very unhappy with the delivery of the item. Just now received the charger and don't know yet if it works so I hope at least my mom has the ability to bathe again.

Since you won't give me the amount of words I need for my review will use this space too. What bothers me is I have had my credit card for several months and never used it till now- immediately after ordering the bath lift and surrendering my information to you- my bank calls me that there were charges on my card This bothers me a lot

The lift works fine. Makes my wife's bathing much easier. However the delivery service was not too good. I did not receive all of my order. I did not receive the headrest.

Safe in and out of the tub
28 July 2013

As an elderly, overweight and disabled gentleman, it's difficult to maneuver to sitting in the tub for a bath. It often isn't safe, either, due to the dangers of slipping getting up or down. With the lift, I simply step into the tub, sit on the chair, and after the bath stand up and step out. The chair lowers me safely (and reclines for comfort) then lifts me back to the original sitting position. I was concerned the remote controller only had 2 buttons: up & down, not one for leaning back. No problem; once the chair is lowered, continued pressing tilts the back of the chair. 'Up' raises the back to the full upright position then raises the chair itself. It seems awfully pricey, but this model does have a 375 lb. lift capacity. It's nice to be able to immerse myself ... MoreAs an elderly, overweight and disabled gentleman, it's difficult to maneuver to sitting in the tub for a bath.
