I have tried a lot of dry shampoos as I try not to wash my hair too often due to dryness. I have brown hair and most dry shampoos leave white residue even when I rub it in a lot. I love the original batiste dry shampoo and was so excited about this brunette toned one. It keeps my hair feeling clean even after a workout, you have to rub it in but I’m not scratching at my head to remove the very noticeable residue since it comes out a dark brown shade. Only downside is it gets my hands a bit brown but comes off easily with soap and water :)

My hair gets oily one day after a fresh shampoo. I was washing my hair pretty much every other day. Talk about annoying! Then there's the added time of drying and styling it! I was turned on to Batiste Beautiful Brunette Dry Shampoo. I love the concept of not having to deal with white powder look when applying the dry shampoo and trying to blend it in without it looking like you have a head of white hair! The brunette powder does just that, it also tends to cover my gray hair so it is not so noticeable, what an added bonus! Since I have jet black hair, the white powdery stuff is not ideal for me. However, this stuff is a game changer! The hint of dark color is amazing for blending with my color and helps to hide spots that are thinning. I just went 9 days between washes and no one was able to tell! It also does not leave any buildup or residue behind. Basically, it’s perfect!

I have use lots of dry shampoos in the past and haven’t been impressed as they often leave my hair, claggy and itchy. However, I was pleasantly surprised at this formula. I’m really pleased they do a dark brown colour as many others leave you with white dust in your hair! Which can look really odd, as well as making your hair very itchy.Will continue to use, does the job. Keeps my hair fresh and manageable in between washes.
I ordered my usual Batiste Brunette dry shampoo (as pictured for this product) thinking Dark and Deep was the new name for it. Admittedly the name change worried me a little. Instead of getting the Brunette one, I got the Dark Hair one, which is far too dark and also stains. This picture and the name are very misleading. Dark and Deep dry shampoo does not exist. You’re being sold the Dark hair one. The old Brunette dry shampoo seems to have been discontinued. Boots please be straight with your customers! It’s so very disappointing. Would not have bought this if I had known, as I tried it before and it was too dark for me.

I love Batiste products. It’s my go to dry shampoo. This particular one is perfect for dark hair. It has no white residue like the original. It sprays a dark mist that leaves hair looking and smelling amazing. It’s perfect for in between washes when hair starts to look a bit greasy or needs a freshen up. Would definitely recommend
So glad I got this to try as I don't always have the time to wash my hair every few days but I didn't want a dry shampoo which would leave silver streaks all in my hair.
