Batiste Heavenly Volume Dry Shampoo 200 ml

Ok so I gave it theee stars because I’m exactly in the middle on this one. I do keep buying it because I don’t know what else to get honestly. This hairspray definately does what it says: keeps loads of volume. And it lasts several days like my hair looks fresh for 3 more days after I put it on. On the downside it feels HORRIBLE. My hair feels super stiff (kind of like hairspray) and it’s just a huge pain to take off. It’s what makes me not want to use it. If it didn’t feel that awful on my head, I would use it way more.

I am huge fan of Batiste’s dry shampoo’s. I wash my hair every 2-3 days and in between washes, the batiste dry shampoos are my go-to. I’ve only ever tried the normal scented dry shampoo’s from them but decided to give the volume one a go since I have fine hair. I used it twice then the tube went in the bin. The first time I used it, I couldn’t run my fingers through my hair as it had made it all tatty and coated in product. I then tried it a second time with a different technique and the same thing happened.

I’m writing this review legit because I love this product so much and hope it never gets discontinued. If you have flat hair, this product is a must for styling your hair. It adds grit to your hair to where even if your hair falls a little bit you just use your fingers to fluff your roots and it goes right back to voluminous hair. It also keeps my hair from getting greasy as quickly to where I don’t have to wash it as quickly. The only downside is it makes my hair feel gross (but that’s also how it stays voluminous) so I will wash it after 2 days regardless of how good it still looks, but I’m telling you you need this if your hair goes flat after like 10 minutes of putting hairspray in. As a dry shampoo, it gets the job done and does what it promises. In this case, makes the hair look fresh and more voluminous. It also doesn't break the bank. That being said, its got such a strong scent and it smells very sweet. It also leaves my hair feeling matt and slightly heavy.

For a volumising product, I wouldn’t say it adds much more than a regular dry shampoo. As a dry shampoo it is really good, I don’t find it leaves as much white powdery substance as the original. All in all a good dry shampoo and does add a touch of volume but as a volumising product? I wouldn’t say it works any better than other regular dry shampoos.

This is a good dry shampoo if your hair is going to be up because it leaves it kinda stiff. It does make it tangled and a little dry but looks great when you put your hair in an bun/ponytail/clip. It gives volume and soaks up the oils but stiff looking if you wear it down and some white residue that you have to brush out.

Amazing product

I have tried every batiste dry shampoo out there and I found with their normal range i had to use so much of it, the can would only last a week or two and the product just didn't last in my hair I would have to reapply.I originally bought this for my mum as she doesn't have much volume and has fine hair so gets greasy quick. She loved it. So I gave it a go. I have thick hair which can be heavy causing my hair to have no volume. Also due to medication I'm on my hair gets greasy the day after washing it.I gave this a go and I didn't need alot of product at all. It lasts all day, gives me volume, smells lovely. It does leave your hair feeling abit tacky and straw like. Also when I know my hair is starting to feel greasy i will spray my hair the night before don't brush or rub it in, sleep with it. I wake up and my hair is alot fresher. I agree with the other review I normally buy the smaller can as I can normally get it cheaper but boots had the large one on offer so I bought a couple. When using them I find you get half way and it just doesn't come out any more so batiste really need to work on that, I will stick with the smaller ones for now. Only thing I wish is that they would do a travel size one. Would 100% recommend.

DREADFUL

I bought this product as I was about to go into hospital for major surgery. I did a trial run a couple of days before. I followed the instructions to the letter as I had never used a dry shampoo before. The result was disastrous. My hair became extremely dry and matted. I couldn't get the brush through it and hair was being pulled out. I washed and conditioned my hair but it was not enough. I was obliged to book into a hair salon as an emergency and paid a good deal to have my hair deep conditioned. Thank goodness I didn't wait until I was in hospital before trying it out. I will never use Batiste again.

Impressive volume…better than high end!

With bleach blonde hair, I try not to wash it but once or twice per week. With that being said, I have tested many different dry shampoos %26 none compare to Bastiste Heavenly Volume. It even works better than the high end brands I’ve used in the past. It gives the perfect amount of lift %26 absorption in only a few sprays. As instructed on its label, I also suggest vigorously shaking before use for optimum results.

Batiste is by far the best dry shampoo around, at its costs or higher. Thats One reason Im sure that its been voted the number one dry shampoo for the past several years. I started out using it in one of the mini floral flavors that I tried but I ended up buying all of and then Matisse came out with a blonde on blonde formulation which you could use to cover dark roots and it also helped with the white residue that is easily seen and blond hair. Finally I found this volumizing formula because Ive never seen it in stores before and the eight dollars was definitely worth it. I have a literally used every dry shampoo under the sun and this is hands-down the best one there is out there
