Batiste Original Dry Shampoo 200 ml

This is hands down the best dry shampoo on the market. I have fine, thin hair that becomes greasy reasonably quickly. The smell of this dry shampoo is pleasant and really minimizes oiliness. Sometimes, I use it to add volume to my hair, which never fails. I consistently purchase this product regularly and will continue to do so. On the downside, it does leave your scalp looking a bit white, and I found that the clear version does not absorb oil as well. The whiteness can be resolved by thoroughly rubbing the product into your scalp. However, this can result in a dry and flaky scalp, and I find that my hair becomes quite dry using this product, but that is expected. Overall, I 100% recommend this product.

I love this dry shampoo! For background I have super long, medium density hair that I wash every other day and I have bangs, which get oily rather quickly compared to the rest of my hair. Batiste makes my hair look clean and soft, not greasy! I have used it on 4 day unwashed hair before (depression!) and while it may not look like I just shampooed that day, it does help A LOT! To not get any white residue, I tilt my head down so my hair is flipped upside down, then I spray while targeting my roots, I tousle my hair and I flip it back over and brush my hair! If I feel I need more I keep my head upright and hair normal, and the key is to lift up the top layer of your hair and spray the dry shampoo in between the top layer roots and the rest of your hair. If you spray directly on top of your roots, with your hair flat, you will be more likely to have white residue. Also, don’t go crazy and hold that thing down so it is non-stop spraying. First off I have used the brand in the past and really enjoyed some of their dry shampoos. That being said this was not one of my favorites. The smell was not particularly good given the description and the fact that it is supposed the be barely scented. It wasn’t bad just wasn’t great either. Also, it sprayed kinda of heavy on my hair. It was a bit harder to rub in and left more white deposits. However, the volume was fantastic! It added a lot of texture to my layers. It does absorb the oil and really brings your hair back to life. I just wish the spray was lighter or easier to control and that this brand is cruelty free- that’s why I stopped using this brand.

Absolutely must have

I absolutely love this product! The best dry shampoo range I've ever tried. It has been a must have since I first tried it a few years ago! It works incredibly well on my fine hair, adding volume when needed and getting rid of the "greasy" look that I sometimes get. It's absolutely perfect if you're in a rush and just want to refresh your look, or if like me you have very fine hair which gets dirty incredibly quickly, bur you don't want to have to wash them every single day!The packaging is quite nice and colourful too, which is a plus.I've been using this product/brand for a while, and I can see myself keep using it. Great product (if you know how to use dry shampoo!)

As someone who worked in “luxury cosmetics” for years, this is hands down the best quality and price dry shampoo. The low reviews, if not attributed to a faulty nozzle, seem to be attributed to user error in my opinion. I don’t mean this to be condescending, but there is a right and wrong way to use dry shampoo…. If you are spraying it directly on the top of your head, of course you are going to have white residue even after you rub it in! You need to lift your hair in small sections and spray UNDER the lifted section at the root. Then rub it in. This will give you way better volume AND oil absorption! I also personally find it works and looks best when I do this at NIGHT before bed. Your scalp/hair produces a ton of oil while you sleep. Poor nozzle and value.

I usually use Tresemme's Dry Shampoo. Which is nearly double the amount and less expensive. I couldn't find any for a while, and read some reviews to see if I could find anything as to why. In the process I discovered that the nozzles were frequently clogging. Perhaps problem management was in effect. So I bought the Batiste. First thing I noticed was it's difficult to be subtle with it's application, as it comes out all or nothing, and in longer bursts. Then upon the third use, the nozzle got stuck in the on position for a good five seconds. It seems Batiste told Tresemme to hold their beer. Dare I say having a great applicator is equally valuable as having a good product inside. I have an original Batiste Dry Shampoo.It arrived in a 200 ml spray container.It is easy to hold, press, dispense, and use.It sprays evenly.I shake it well before each use.I have long, fine, thinning hair that doesn't look fresh after a few hours after washing.I use this shampoo usually between washes to keep my hair looking fresh for longer.After using the dry shampoo, my hair looks much better, fresh, and healthy.It lifts it a bit, so it looks like I have more hair. I recently tried Batiste Dry Shampoo Original, and it’s fantastic! The scent is a refreshing mix of lemon and fresh floral, which I really enjoy. This dry shampoo works great for all hair types. I have dry hair, and my boyfriend has oily hair, but we both love it.My hair is a bit thin, and it gets oily and flat if I don’t wash it every day.
