Prefere the older battletech maps. The newer maps made of paper rather than card. So concerned how long they will last.

Deserts map pack is a nice collection of arid and rocky terrain to add terrain difficulties and cover for your forces to defend or break through! Same great design work that adds a lot of depth and shading, which helps if you’re doing 2D terrain. I like all the maps in this set and have used them. I wish the maps were a heavier tear-resistant paper but they’re not fragile, and I like they aren’t glossy so there’s no glare issues. There are great maps for general use in all of the packs, at least one- but I have to say if you have a right budget then this and the grasslands pack will give you a lot of variety for your scenarios.

Diverse packs that really make the game more enjoyable. Loved the first game I played on the airfield map. Second game was more interesting with a very diverse set of levels. Made it a more complicated match.
This is a great map expansion for BattleTech. The maps run from fairly open to complex, so if you're just starting out, the more open maps are perfect, and if you like heavy terrain, you're covered. Highly recommend!
These maps are excellent, especially for expanding Battletech's play options. The artwork for Catalyst's maps has been improving steadily and the Desert Map Pack is no exception. I run tournaments for the game and these make a great impression visually.
These maps provide a wide variety of terrain features and maps for not much money. Would definitely recommend this map set.
A great set of double-sided maps designed for Battletech! They did a great job of using shading to show terrain elevation.
Add some tan paper maps to your collection of green paper maps. They look great. Some hills, and a cool installation/airstrip.They don't always sit flat, so get a clear piece of plastic from a cheap Walmart poster frame to lay down on top of them while you play.
