I am very glad that I finally decided to purchase a MalleoTrain ankle support, I rolled my left ankle many years ago and in the last several year I had started experience pain and stiffness. this ankle support fits the shape of my ankle well and feels very comfortable, I wear it during the day including when doing exercise, the pain I used to have has reduced significantly, I will definitely continue to wear it.

I thoroughly enjoy my morning walks, but was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right ankle. After scouring the internet searching for a comfortable and supportive ankle support, I luckily came across the Malleo Train Ankle Support. After reading the reviews, I placed an order straight away and I couldn't wait for it to be delivered.....I wear the support when doing my morning walks, finding it extremely supportive and a very comfortable fit in my walking shoes.It's worth every cent and I highly recommend the Malleo Train Ankle Support to anyone with ankle issues!

I bought this after I rolled my left ankle after almost got run over by a car when running few months back.I wore this support few times for TaeKwonDo practice sessions and it helped to stabilize my ankle when doing lots of twisting, turning and pivoting.The downside is that the sole of my foot becomes sore wearing this for TKD, it seems that the strap is still too tight even at its loosest setting and digs to the sole as I have a very flat foot.So am going to try either the sports ankle or the sports ankle dynamic (not sure which one) with the hope that it'll be just right support that I need without soreness.

During a socially volleyball session, I landed on an opponents foot when they crossed their side of the court resulting in me rolling my left ankle.I really like this ankle support for wearing at home as the ankle pain is still present.However wearing this with my shoes during volleyball training and in a game is not so good. The bulkiness is a little uncomfortable and the strap doesn't give the lateral support I prefer.Recently going back to rigid tapping my ankle I must admit that my ankle feels more supported when tapped correctly compared to the ankle support.Note the Velcro that the strap uses to hold itself will cause some minor wear on the ankle support sock. You can see the fraying of the fabric in the photo.
After trying so many other brands, did further research and came across Bauerfeind. Thank goodness I did. Purchased the Malleo Ankle Support for my Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis and can honestly say have noticed a marked improvement with mobility and pain relief. Very happy!!

The product has 6 sizes and the size chart explains how to take an exact measurement to order the correct size. After receiving the product, it is clear that this product is designed for men. I ordered a size 2 (because my ankle measurement was exactly 8") and size 2 is designed for 7 1/2-8 1/14". It offers no compression because it is too large. Bauerfeind should have other other fit measurements (maybe foot size/width) so that women and narrow-jointed/footed men can order the proper size to take advantage of this well-designed product. I really wanted to love this ankle brace. I waited several weeks to receive as it was backordered. It was very disappointing to find that the strap (which is the unique part of the brace) is about two inches too long for my (female) size 9 Narrow got. The end of the strap Velcro’s to the brace. But despite following the included directions the strap ends underneath my arch which feels like bunched up fabric under my foot when walking. Seems well made but other than the unique strap design not sure why it costs $100. Will be returning.
I have seronegative arthritis and a recent flare in my right ankle. After significant research including peer led medical review, I took the plunge and bought the Bauerfeind malleotrain ankle support as it was highly rated in medical trials. Within a day of wearing it the swelling had gone and is being held at bay still. I see my consultant next week so will discuss with her how we proceed moving forward, in the meantime my ankle is back to it’s normal status. Arrived quickly and packaged well, thank you.
