The shaver is easy to clean, too, a quick wash with running water under the tap.It is battery operated and rechargeable. Before first use, I needed to have it charged. It takes about an hour for a full charge which lasted me around 83 minutes. Close enough to the claimed 90 minutes. When it was completely empty a quick 7 minute charge was enough for me to do what I needed it to do.You can use it as a trimmer for your beard, moustache and sideburns or as a shaver. However, unlike the traditional shaver, this one doesn’t completely shave and clean the face which is fine with me because it feels more comfortable. Philips has put a lot of thought into this. The shape of the OneBlade Pro head is small enough that you can glide it at the hair underneath the nose.I’m pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and easy it is to hold the shaver and moves it around your face. The blade is very sharp but the way it is designed is safe and won’t cut the skin. The recommendation for a blade change is once every four months. Depending on how often and how thick you cut the hair, the blade may have to be replaced sooner.Overall a nice addition to my collection.

Once you open it and see the OneBlade Pro Face. You will see how it is perfectly designed and how easy it is to assemble and connecting attachments is a breeze.I really like the grip of the shaver in my hand. Simple ergonomic design compared to my previous shavers. I also like the charging light indicator blinking and stop when it's fully charged. It would be perfect if there is a charging stand or cradle so it won't be awkwardly laying in my bathroom sink.I also like the idea of a wet and dry shaver. It may not be as close cut as a typical blade shaver but it's really close enough to make you feel great. It also doesn’t give that irritating or harsh feeling on your skin that you normally get from a blade or other shaver. It smoothly runs on your face. You just have to find that certain angle of running it on your face. Overall, It's an amazing shaver for me.Thanks Phillips.

Excellent all rounder which continues to impress
21 December 2021

I have been using this product now for a few months. It is intuitive to use, charges quickly, is compact and most importantly does a great job. I use it for neatening up sideburns, neck, eyebrows and for thinning the sides of my hair between haircuts and it does a great job of all. I particularly like its compact head which means that I can be far more accurate with my grooming.Update 21st December. This product continues to impress. The small head is so easy to use because you can use either side or end of the blade. I have used it to shave and to sculpt. I have also used the clip on precision trimming comb to evenly trim the thickness and length out of the side of my hair between haircuts allowing me to stay neater and extend the time between haircuts. Excellent. Best body groomer I've owned.
22 August 2023

This is the 4th body groomer I've used. Before this one, the best was a Philips Multigroom series 7000, with the skin protector attachment. I'd say in terms of the head attachment, this one is just as good, maybe better for my purposes. The battery life isn't an issue for me as it's just a matter of charging it overnight once a week. I use this every 2 to 3 days. Once you get used to it, it's a breeze for using "downstairs". It's so hard to find a stand-alone, good-value body groomer.

Great shaver but not perfect
28 December 2021

After using this shaver a few times now the beard trimming is great. Easy to use and does provide a consistent shave, better than most I have tried. It is quick to charge and the battery has lasted me a good period of time, no concerns there.I was a bit disappointed to find this model didn't come with some sort of case or travel pouch. I think it is expected that it would come with something to store it in.Apart from the lack of case/pouch, my main gripe is that is a bit difficult to shape your beard/moustache due to the wide blade. I have other models which come with a detachable smaller blade for this reason.Other than this I think it is a very good shaver and would definitely recommend it to someone as long as my last two points are not deal breakers for them

I currently have a phillips norelco trimmer.
27 June 2023

I purchased this product because of my previous experience with this brand. The one I is over 20 years old and works perfectly. the only problem is one of the trimmer blades has a chip in it and doesn't fit tight on the base. I have only used the new one a couple of times, so far it is not as comfortable to use as the old one. Like anything else it takes getting used to. I'm 81 years old and will probably never know how long this one lasts.

Nifty little shaver

This is an excellent shaver in an attractive form factor. It comes securely packaged in a minimum of plastic, part of a very welcome trend of tech products moving away from excessive waste. The shaver itself is well presented and intuitive in the hand - it’s fairly streamlined and the form factor has more in common with my razor than some of the bulky electric shavers I’ve tried in the past. In fact, that’s exactly the niche that this shaver fills; a handy middle ground that, as far as I’m concerned, eliminates the need for a separate razor and electric shaver, which will be especially welcome when traveling.I keep a full beard, so the adjustable guard allows me to keep straggly hairs in order, but using the shaver without the guard is where it really shines. ... MoreThis is an excellent shaver in an attractive form factor. It’s easy to use the head to trim neat, straight lines, and it also gives a very respectable shave to my cheeks and neck. Not quite as close as a razor, but better than any other electric shaver I’ve seen and more than adequately for someone who is maintaining a bit of facial hair.I’d definitely recommend.

Superb Flexibility

This is an an excellent product for your shaving needs. First of all, it provides a very close shave, comparable to what you would be able to get with a handheld razor. Moreover, I have found that it is much gentler on your skin. This holds true even against blades designed for sensitive skins. The blade is also powerful enough to quickly trim your beard. Just make sure to use a higher blade height setting than you would with another electric trimmer. Otherwise your beard will be a bit shorter than desired.Battery life is also excellent for the size. I haven’t had to charge it in more than 3 weeks of use. For short trips, you can probably leave the charger at home and still be confident about it lasting for your needs. What I have been waiting for

Well… the Philips One Blade Pro. I have tried many products over the years to keep the beard trimmed but this is a brilliant product. The design is very well thought out to fit in the hand and the brain just gets on with it, the fixed swan neck, at least for me is the right angle that contouring, trimming and edging just work. The trim guard is the first thing I thought may be a problem as it looks quite big in the box, but once on the trimmer it all comes together nicely and has a solid but easy to use length dial from 0.5mm – 9mm, in 0.5mm steps up to 5mm, where it goes to 7mm and 9mm.There is motor noise when in use, but not enough to cause a concern and given that his is for hair, the motor does a great job without being overwhelmed. Battery life seems to be good at the moment. I use the device for about 10-15 mins twice a week and it is still on the first charge, a 2 hour cycle, 2 months ago. A feature of this device, that I have not tried yet, but in states on the box is it can be used as a wet shaver, with or without foam.A downside could be the costs of the blades, but given a blade lasts approx. 4 months this is something that can be justified and from a safety perspective, they are not bare so do not cut the skin (disclaimer: I have not tried to make them cut) as mentioned above I have used the device for edging which means the trim guard is not used. All in all, I have really grown to like this device and it has replaced the 2 I used to have to get the same result with a plus side, the wife uses this to clean the hair lines when she does my hair as the blade only is so tight and clean finish. One small downside for me, but no fault of Philips, is the device charger only has the 2 prong shaver style plug, which I do not have so had to buy an adaptor, however, given the advantages his device had for me, ease of use, wet or dry, 4 months a blade and the trim guide, overall I am very happy.
