Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats High-Performance Wireless Earphones Black

Previously had jlab earbuds that fit in ear nicely but jammed so far in ear that often it would muffle the sound unless it was in the right spot but would not fall out. Tried jbl earbuds that would not stay in but sounded better. There is no substitute for the hooks going around your ears for working out. These are comfortable and can wear with hat and glasses with not much issue. Sound quality is extremely crisp and clear and has a much higher volume than other earbuds which is helpful for some recordings that are too quiet. Expensive but so far worth it.

I personally prefer the wireless headphones with a connection between the two because I tend to lose things so I enjoy these. It doesn’t get in the way of anything and you still get the great benefits of wireless headphones not connected to a phone etc. the sound quality is great but it doesn’t block out background noise all that much. I don’t mind it too much because I can still hear in case of emergency but I hear enough of my chosen sound that the background noise fades away. They’ve lasted a while and charge very quickly. The charge also lasts a long time. My only complaint is sometimes they turn on on their own randomly in my bag and il end up w dead headphones. This is far and few between though don’t let it deter you too much.

Almost perfect

I was surprised to see that these came with only one set of rubber tips- they seem to be the middle size of the 3 most headphones come with. But since the item description didnt specify, its not a negative, IMO. But people with small ears or larger ones might want to grab some if they want these to fit well. The fit wasnt good for me- but my ears are evidently unusually small. I couldnt get them to fit comfortably for regular wear or while running, Im 51 110lb. My daughter (54 120lb) was able to get a more comfortable fit. There was something sticky on one of the earpieces, it looked like dried juice or soda? Im a mom of 4 and it takes a lot more than someones dried goo to get me upset; it wasnt difficult to clean but nasty all the same.

Beats Earbuds

Sound quality is far superior to the Samsung version of AirPods, and thank God it doesn't fall out like AirPods do. That was a constant issue. Bluetooth connectivity is good to the car, laptop and other devices and the mic works well on videoconferencing apps like WebEx and Teams. Sound quality is far superior on these critical apps. It took me a while to get used to fast forwarding and reversing on the right Beats button but using Bixby (who knew?) it works well with Android products. With Apple it works well with Siri. The lack of the fifth star is I think they could get the fit better. I think the earpieces need to shrink a bit more.

I have owned quite a few models of Beats by Dre and so far this is my favorite! They have a great snug fit and the ear hooks prevent the buds from popping out of your ears. The sound is extremely crisp and clear, the base is very strong and the noise cancellation works better than most of my other models Ive owned. I couldnt hear a thing outside of the ear buds! I also found that they have a way better sound compared to Apple AirPods. Very comfortable, crisp clear sound, 100% noise cancellation and perfectly built to perfection in my opinion. I also want to add that the seller who sold me this was extremely professional, very nice and answered all of my questions. This seller is trustworthy!

Clean sound and great for exercising.

First and foremost, this is an incredible sounding headset. I found myself lost in my music again, hearing some of the details that just get lost in other headsets. The bass is solid but seems to be emphasized more than most headsets I've used. Noted this particularly on MJ's Billie Jean where the bass seemed to almost pulsate in and out unnaturally at times. Mids and highs sound clean and even. Initially they were awkward and a bit difficult to get on but after a few uses, I'm able to put them on quickly and easily by putting them over my ears with the earpiece turned a little forward and twisting them on to seat them in my ear. I've worn them over a few days for extended periods and didn't find them uncomfortable or irritating. They stayed in and on the ear and are fairly light. Volume, answer, and power controls reside on the headset which are easy to locate and have a positive click when pressed.Battery easily lasted a full day of music listening and talking on the phone. People had no trouble hearing or understanding me even while I was walking next to a busy street.Overall, it's a beats headset which carries it's reputation as a well built product. Pros are definitely battery life, clean clear sound, and they fit tightly and solidly on your ear. I'd like if there was a way to adjust the equalization to for the bass but found 99% of the time to be a pleasant boost to the low end. Would recommend these for someone who wants the beats sound in a nice in ear headset. Will be using these a lot at the gym.

Disappointing

The good:- I enjoy the design of these earphones. Their shape guarantees that they never fall off my ears, even when exercising. I like that unlike earpods, you can rest these earphones on your neck and not be worried about misplacing them.- Bluetooth connectivity is very easy.The bad:- The sound quality is not the best. Even my cheap Amazon 4-year old over-the-ear headphones are better than these.- A couple months after use the plastic B decorating the button of the earphones started sticking out and eventually falling off.- After a year of regular use the material covering the interconnecting wire started to disconnect from the earphones (essentially the base of the earphones are starting to separate from the wire). Excellent Exercise/Running Earphones. Good Sound Isolation, Long Battery Life

These are the real deal. Original. When you charge them and turn them on and you are using an iPhone, the iPhone immediately recognizes them. They have decent sound, block out a lot of noise (good noise isolation) but youll still hear the loudest noises. Very impressed. The major advantage that these earbuds have is that they dont fall out when one is running or doing some other form of physical activity. Once they wrap onto your outer ears, they stay put. There are some that complain about the cable but the cable doesnt bother me at all. You can always tie some parts or the cord just in case the rubbing on your neck bothers you. You can choose to get 6 free months of Apple Music. If you are in the Apple ecosystem and you use an Apple Watch, then the Powerbeats 4 music controls can also be controlled with the Apple Watch. You can pause, forward or rewind a song. No need to fiddle with the physical controls. You can also check the battery life from the Apple Watch. It has an impressive battery life, as advertised. After 3 hours, the battery life dropped from 86% to 68%. I have used the earphones using running sunglasses and they feel good.

Much good but some bad

At first I didn't like them but the more I use them the more I find their value. I used to have Apple airbuds but they kept falling out of my ears plus they only come in white. These have different colors and they do not fall out. Whatever I am playing whether it be sermons, podcast, music or phone calls I can hear them clearly. However, it is hard to hear other sounds that come in while I am listening such as Ring notifications, text notifications and the like. I wish I had gotten one without the cord.

Sound wasn't worth the price

I love Beats products and own a pair of over ear headphones as well as the over ear earbuds. I wanted to replace earbuds since they were a little damaged due to wear and tear. I figured upgrading would give me a great experience with not only functionality but also the sound. When I got these, there was a little learning curve to placing these earbuds over the ear as you do have to put them on kind of weird. It feels funny that the wire is on the part that used to be what you tucked behind your ear to keep it in place. But they are definitely not going anywhere. I don't like how big they were though. They always looked too big for my ears. Also the sound was not great and that was the tipping point for me. There are several reviews out there where people describe the volume button being the issue and I discovered the same issue as well. You have to turn the volume unusually high for it to be at a normal sound level. If you have the volume on medium, you're not hearing very much and it's almost as if you almost have them turned down. Even with the volume a quarter of the way up, I was straining to hear, and that is never good for a headset. They really need to look into volume control before they decide to come out with a new version of these again. I'm thinking of going on Amazon or ebay and repurchasing the same old ones that I have now because the sound was much better. These were nothing compared to my old pair so I have returned these and will possibly be looking into buying a different brand or my old ones again. But don't let this dissuade you from buying Beats in the future. Immediately after this I purchased some new over ear Beats as my old ones were also worn due to wear and tear and the sound is amazing. But for these beats in particular, I would not suggest spending this type of money for something with terrible sound quality.
