Beats Powerbeats Pro Totally Wireless Earphones Black

I work out a lot. When people ask me what is the most important piece of fitness equipment, my ranking is 1 shoes, and 2 Beats wireless.I’ve used and completely worn out Powerbeats 2 and 3 and these ones are my favorite so far. I have a hard time finding earphones, most kinds either don’t fit securely in my ears or they chafe. I originally tried Powerbeats because I wanted the over-ear hooks to hold them in place. The wire between the previous Powerbeats would catch on my hair or clothes, sometimes enough to pull one of the earphones out. Beats by Dr.Dre are one of my favorite brands for purchasing headphones/earbuds. I received these as an gift for Christmas absolutely adore them! They are very much of high quality, you can hear all of the background singers clearly in songs, plus cancels out any noises(noise canceling). It did take some time to get used wearing them over my ear, however I am used to now. Comes with the charging case of course, which is of high quality as well. They are designed with a modern sleek luxury look comes in a variety of colors of your picking. You can find these at Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Amazon,Apple, or beats actual website. Fairly easy to charge, turn on/off, connect to Bluetooth, open/close case. I never experienced any problems with functionality or anything. Gives a studio sound where you can turn it up as high as you want, bass is not too much or little, pitch is perfect! I would highly suggest these 9.75 out of 10. Only thing I wish, there was a battery percent reader installed directly on the case like some others on the market.

I personally have the Apple Air Pods Pro thinking that because I have an iPhone that they would be the best option for connection and compatibility. These are my favorite earphones. I went from using over the ear headphones by beats to these. The over the ear ones were too big for my head and would slide off when I did floor workouts. These do not come out ever whether you're running, doing HIIT, or anything cardio related. They are definitely sweat proof and the sound quality is fabulous. They are not completely noise cancelling which they don't state that they are, but it cuts out most of the sound around you. My ears are small and normally earphones like these don't fit in my ear well but these are very comfortable and the ear hooks really keep them in place. Among the best I bought so far!

This is my first set of wireless earbuds and I'm glad to put in some homework before buying this one. It has good water resistance (yes, including sweat) and excellent sound. My main concern was not only about water, but also such tiny pieces popping out of my ears and dropping them, which happened often with wired earbuds no matter the size due to sweat. The loops around the ears helped tremendously with that problem and I only need to readjust!It also took me some time to readjust from having a device around my neck to my ears along with using just 2 buttons and I'm satisfied with what it can do so I don't have to go to my phone past the basic play-pause-back-forward and volume settings.To clarify: the "b" is the button to use for (one click) play and pause, ... MoreThis is my first set of wireless earbuds and I'm glad to put in some homework before buying this one. It's overall a double thumbs-up from me!

Preface: Using these headphones with an Android phone.First of all, avoid the accompanying app as the plague. It is terrible, doesn't function most of the time and adds nothing of value. The firmware updates it says it can do never really work. Half the time it doesn't recognize your headphones. It's not worth it. The headphones will pair with your phone just fine without it.They're my commute headphones and I haven't used them on long travels just yet, so no real remarks about the charging box. But overall it's not a bad set of headphones, though not as good as the hype.What disappointed me however is the audio quality. First of all, go with the largest tips that will fit in your ear. Just using them with the tips installed out of the box made me wonder why the quality was simply terrible. Changing the tips out for larger ones improved this significantly. The bass however is very mediocre if you're interested in listening to music. Given the "arm" issue mentioned above, pushing them somewhat more into your ear canal is not an option.When everything is fine, the sound quality is acceptable and they're a great pair of headphones. However, on occasion - perhaps based on the quality of the Bluetooth connection - the headphones seem to go in a mode that sounds as if both are either "mono" or as if the left and right channels are swapped. This doesn't seem to reset by itself, but when stopping your podcast/music, and resuming it again after a few seconds, seems to fix this issue.

Great sound, but they do not last

I have purchased 2 pairs of these PowerBeat Pro and the right ear bud on both sets stopped working in less than a year. I originally purchased the Powerbeats Pro when they first came out. I was very happy with how they sounded, they worked how they were supposed to, and hooked around my ear better than any set I previously purchased. I used them frequently and in less than a year my right side ear bud would work for only about 20 minutes before being drained of power. The left side bud continued to work fine. After trying everything I could to resolve this, I ended up just buying another set. I was very happy with the sound quality and fit that I was willing to pay full price for a new set hoping the next gen model would have resolved that issue. Poor case quality - charge and durability issues

These headphones don’t fall out during my runs, which is why I keep buying them. However, now that Beats has switched this model to charge the headphones within the case, I have had charge defect issues with 3 separately purchased pairs. I was able to exchange my last pair that were defective for the current pair I have and was told to wipe down my headphones after every run to prevent charge issues. I’ve been using the wipes at the gym to prevent sweat and rust buildup, but as a result the paint coating on the case seems to be coming off. So on top of my current pair having the (expected) occasional charge issues with my L earbud, I also have a chipped, rusted case (despite never dropping it). A sweat-resistant headphone should not show signs of wear/plastic chipping (without physical damage) after exposure to sweat / disinfectant wipes. Despite never dropping the case, the interior plastic portion lifted off and appears rusted, on top of the fact that the charge is unreliable. I purchased this pair about a year ago, and am unfortunately passed warranty - although I find the condition of my headphones unacceptable given the price and reputation of the company!

Save your money or buy a different brand!

I recently started having connectivity issues where one headphone would sync up with my devices but not the other one. In order to fix them I needed to put them back into the charging case for a couple minutes and this would mostly fix this. Then I started noticing that one headphone would not be fully charged when I took them out of the case. Sometimes the one would be so low that I wouldn’t be able to use them at the gym for my workout. I started noticing this getting worse and found that the headphone(s) would sometimes just stay on and connected even when they were in the charging case. I spoke to Apple and they requested me to send them back. Some great features but not perfect

There Powerbeats are good but not great, especially for the price. Frankly, I'm a bit disappointed.First, the good points. I very much prefer having earhooks on my earbuds and these work nicely and are comfortable. I considered getting Apple AirPods but they aren't available with earhooks.I like the Powerbeats compact size. The controls are very well thought out and I also like that they're the same on both buds so I can use either hand. Furthermore, it's great that the buds can be used one at a time instead of only both. This is helpful for maintaining ambient awareness when exercising outdoors because there's nothing in one ear.Now for the not so good things about these Powerbeats. Now, when placing them in the case, I jiggle each bud to assure it's solidly in contact with the case's contacts.I don't think the Powerbeats justify the high price. They'd be a decent purchase if they were on sale for at least $50 less, but not they're MSRP.
