These Beats by Dre are really awesome. I like the cloud pink color and the ear pieces are incredibly soft and comfortable. My favorite thing is that they stay on very well at the gym. For context, I like to lift weights, use the treadmill and do stretching exercises and not once did they slip off on me. Setting up the initial connection was a breeze and they always usually (99% of the time) paired with my phone without issue. The battery life is great and the sound quality is superior. My hair did catch only one time on the sliding part so be mindful of that if you have long hair like I do. These Beats Solo 4 are amazing! My daughter has been using them to practice her dance recital without having to blast the music in the entire house. The battery has lasted us for days now without having to charge! They are super soft when positioned on the ears. The quality of the volume is perfectly crisp. These Beats are super compact and fit easily into the case provided. The color is beautiful. Only down side is that if your hair is down and you’re taking them off, you’ll probably rip a good few strands of hair out with it. I recommending wearing them only with your hair up. Overall an amazing product that we have been loving!!

CONS - I do not like these headphones at all!! - I bought specifically for the gym today I tested them out at the gym and they constantly kept sliding off my head. -they do not stop playing when I take them off ( like my AirPods ) -they soaked up all the sweats that cause them to slip and slide on my ears. - due to the cushion part soaking up the sweat I see the color already turning ( from 1 day of use!?!?) -due to the cushion part soaking up the sweat it’s super wet I was constantly wiping them at the gym when I got home I was wiping them with a towel they’re still wet so I’m concerned it’s going to to have a sweat smell. - it does not come with a charging piece I don’t have that kind of charge but thank goodness I was able to utilized my laptop to charge it. -I had a hard time connecting it to my Bluetooth ( it was charging with the cord it came with it would not connect to my Bluetooth something told me to take the plug out once I did it was able to connect to my Bluetooth, ( no where on the instructions does it state that, it only state to hold the power button to connect to Bluetooth which it did not work!) - my ears felt like they were suffocating, very snug on uncomfortable I don’t even have really big ears. - I don’t like the way it don’t cover my whole ears, it just sit on top of my ears (if that makes sense when you see people with it on, I don’t like that look, I prefer how the Apple AirPods Max look on way more). - at some point the music was staticky which was super weird so I’d have to stop playing it restart it. - I don’t like how these don’t have noise cancellation. PROS -the cloud pink color is pretty -long battery life So if you read this, you’re probably like that’s a lot of cons, yes, I am returning these back to target by end of this week, I’m not even sure if I’ll continue wearing them for the end of the week because I’m scared the ear cushions are going to get super dirty I want my money back, I really want the Apple AirPod max 2nd generation but wanted to get something less expensive for the meantime but these are not it, I’ll just get another pair of AirPods until the AirPods Max 2nd generation are released.

Get these only for your basic needs

They don’t have active noise cancellation. They don’t have transparency mode. If you need those, get the Beats Studio Pros. I have the Solo 4s and the Pros. I use Pro at home only. The Pros are over-ear and they’re heavier. The Solo 4s are great if you just need to throw on a pair of earphones and go somewhere. They’re lightweight so you don’t feel them as much as the Pros. If you’re playing something at above 50% volume, the sound will leak out and others will be able to hear it if you’re in a quiet environment. They sound nice, but definitely not as bass heavy as the Solo 3s. If that matters to you a lot, don’t get these. Great battery life, and they look nice. Not as good as the Solo 3 for bass performance

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This is what they should have left alone. The sound on the Solo 3 was perfect especially for gym use. Not sure why they needed to change things so much but the bass is quite subdued, as if it cuts off completely at 60 hz.Can’t say they improved midrange or treble clarity as the trade off either.Worst part is there is no beats app for EQ adjustment.Build quality is nice, battery life is probably as advertised as the previous ones lasted forever. But the sound signature sucks for what I listen to at the gym (primarily bass-heavy edm type stuff) so I’m hoping I can return these and have to stick with my big Beats Pro sweat buckets… which also have a lack of bass impact for their size. Come on beats - get it right or get out of the ... MoreIf it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This is what they should have left alone. The sound on the Solo 3 was perfect especially for gym use. I brought these because I was looking for comfort and great sound I’ve had AirPods etc…and just don’t care for inside the ear products. I tried these with high expectations considering the name and pricing. The sound was great just no anc. For the size, quality, and price these should have easily been anc. My two major complaints is the fit/comfort of these. It’s so tight and uncomfortable. I’m a small petite female these make my head, ears, and neck hurt. Also the background sounds just from me simply breathing, eating, talking, touching etc…is so ignoring. The phone call quality was ok and the connection process was easy. The quality could’ve been better these will not last long with everyday continuously use. I returned my headphones for a cheaper anc headphone ... MoreI brought these because I was looking for comfort and great sound I’ve had AirPods etc…and just don’t care for inside the ear products. Beats are for the hype and name. I wouldn’t buy again nor suggest unless they’re a $100 bucks or cheaper. Even with that being said the discomfort wouldn’t be worth it. -Beats solo 4

I got these for my birthday just a week ago and i hate them. I was so excited when i got them, they were cute but they have so many flaws. Whenever i take off the headphones it gets stuck in that stupid little ditch in between where my ears are and the volume button. It pulled out so much of my hair, but thats not it. The headphones were small so it was hard to wear them at all, but wait, thats. not. IT!!! Today i turned on my headphones and it was not working on the right side. No matter what i tried, tutorials, or try to fix myself, it did not work. People from 6 years ago had the same problem! They just wont work, you cant fix them. So expensive but at what cost? My old Soundcore headphones were better smh.

I should have listened to the bad reviews. Back story, I have the first Gen Beats Solos, and though they still work perfectly fine, they look a little beat up (scratched up a little and the paint job in some areas is a little faded/smudged from me cleaning them over the years, and i recently had to replace the ear cushions due to them starting to peel). Because of this, I wanted to get a new pair of ones so I can keep my 1st Gen as a backup. I fell in love with the new slate blue color they came out with for these Beats Solo 4, so naturally, I ordered them with a drive up order. When I got home and tested them out, I was very dissapointed. I personally love a good bass (no complaints with my 1st gen. Beats there, the base is great on those), with these new ones, the bass is non existent. These 4th Gen Beats Solos lack the warmth/richness of previous versions and that is a complete deal breaker for me. Going to return them this weekend and take a look at other brands. Beats has definitely gone down in quality. If you're into mediocre sound quality, go for it! But if you aren't. . . Buyer beware!

[Rewarded Review] Not Worth 200

I already own the Airpods Pro 2nd Gen - I got these because I prefer over ear instead of in-ear. I have no idea how this is worth 200+ compared to the pro's. I had max volume on the headphones and my phone - sounded so low you could barely hear it. The quality is awful too - nothing about this screams quality. The color is not true pink, it's close to a gray/white.The buttons feel wonky and cheap and the mic for calls sounds like complete trash. You can hear all background noise not including that the phone call was super low even at max volume. Since Apple bought Beats they have not been the same.
